Leviticus 9:2

and he said to Aaron, “Take a bull calf as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, [each] without blemish, and offer both before the Lord.

Så befalede han Aron at udvælge en tyrekalv til syndoffer og en vædder til brændoffer, begge uden skavanker. Dyrene skulle han gøre klar til at ofre til Herren.
