Leviticus 22:10

‘No layman [that is, someone outside of Aaron’s family] is to eat the holy gift [which has been offered to God]; a foreigner residing with the priest or a hired man shall not eat the holy thing.

There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

‘No [f]layman, however, is to eat the holy gift; a sojourner with the priest or a hired man shall not eat of the holy gift.

“ ‘Only a member of a priest’s family can eat the sacred offering. The guest of a priest can’t eat it. A priest’s hired worker can’t eat it either.

يُحَظَرُ عَلَى غَيْرِ أُسْرَةِ الْكَاهِنِ أَنْ يَأْكُلُوا مِنَ الذَّبَائِحِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ، سَوَاءٌ أَكَانَ ضَيْفَ الْكَاهِنِ أَمْ أَجِيرَهُ.

Ingen uden for præstens egen familie må spise af de hellige offergaver, heller ikke hvis de bor hos ham eller arbejder for ham.

Nur wer zur Familie des Priesters gehört, darf von den heiligen Opfergaben essen. Wer lediglich in seinem Haus wohnt oder tageweise bei ihm Arbeit findet, darf dies nicht!

Niemand mag van de heilige offers eten, tenzij hij priester is. Ook een bezoeker of een gehuurde dienaar mag niet van dit voedsel eten.

Ingen utomstående får äta av de heliga offren. Ingen som är på besök hos en präst och ingen anställd tjänare får äta av offren.
