Leviticus 19:23

‘When you enter the land and plant all kinds of trees for food, then you shall consider their fruit [b]forbidden. For three years the fruit shall be forbidden to you; it shall not be eaten.

And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.

وَمَتَى دَخَلْتُمْ دِيَارَ كَنْعَانَ، وَغَرَسْتُمْ أَشْجَاراً ذَاتَ أَثْمَارٍ تُؤْكَلُ فَاحْسِبُوا مَحْصُولَ سَنَوَاتِهَا الثَّلاثِ الأُولَى مُحَرَّماً، وَتَكُونُ مَحْظُورَةً عَلَيْكُمْ فَلا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْهَا،

Efter at I er kommet ind i landet og har tilplantet det med alle slags frugttræer, må I ikke høste de tre første afgrøder.

Wenn ihr ins Land Kanaan kommt und Obstbäume pflanzt, dann sind ihre Früchte in den ersten drei Jahren für euch verboten; ihr dürft sie nicht essen.

約束の国へ入って果樹を植えたら、何の木であっても三年は実を食べてはならない。礼拝規定で汚れたものとみなされるからだ。

Wanneer u het land binnenkomt en allerlei vruchtbomen plant, zult u de eerste drie oogsten niet binnenhalen, want die zijn onrein.

När ni har kommit in i landet och har planterat alla slags fruktträd, ska ni inte röra vid den första skörden för frukten ska under tre år betraktas som förbjuden och får inte ätas.
