Leviticus 19:16

You shall not go around as a gossip among your people, and you are not to act against the life of your neighbor [with slander or false testimony]; I am the Lord.

Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the Lord.

“Don’t spread gossip and rumors.“Don’t just stand by when your neighbor’s life is in danger. I am God.

لَا تَسْعَ فِي الْوِشَايَةِ بَيْنَ شَعْبِكَ، وَلا تَرْتَكِبْ مَا يُعَرِّضُ حَيَاةَ جَارِكَ لِلْخَطَرِ، فَأَنَا الرَّبُّ.

I må ikke sprede sladder eller bringe andres liv i fare.

Verleumdet einander nicht, und tut nichts, was das Leben anderer gefährdet! Ich bin der Herr.

うわさ話をして回ってはならない。ありもしないことで人を訴え、罪に陥れてはならない。

또 너희는 돌아다니면서 남을 헐뜯지 말고 자기 이웃의 생명을 위태롭게 하는 짓을 하지 말아라. 나는 여호와이다.

Roddel niet. Doe niets dat het leven van uw naaste in gevaar brengt, want Ik ben de Here.

“Não espalhem calúnias entre o seu povo.“Não se levantem contra a vida do seu próximo. Eu sou o Senhor.

Não sejas mexeriqueiro. Nunca acuses falsamente o teu próximo. Porque eu sou o Senhor.

Să nu umbli cu bârfe în popor şi să nu te atingi de viaţa[b] semenului tău. Eu sunt Domnul.

Sprid inget skvaller bland ditt folk. Gör inget som riskerar din nästas liv, för jag är Herren.

“ ‘อย่าเที่ยวซุบซิบนินทาว่าร้ายในหมู่ประชากรของเจ้า“ ‘อย่ามุ่งร้ายหมายขวัญเพื่อนบ้าน เราคือพระยาห์เวห์

不可到处搬弄是非，不可危害邻居的生命安全。我是耶和华。

不 可 在 民 中 往 来 搬 弄 是 非 ， 也 不 可 与 邻 舍 为 敌 ， 置 之 於 死 （ 原 文 作 流 他 的 血 ） 。 我 是 耶 和 华 。

不可到處搬弄是非，不可危害鄰居的生命安全。我是耶和華。
