Leviticus 16:2

The Lord said to Moses,“Tell Aaron your brother that he [a]must not enter at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil (the Holy of Holies), before the [b]mercy seat which is on the ark, or he will die, for I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to your brother Aaron. Tell him not to come into the Most Holy Room just anytime he wants to. Tell him not to come behind the curtain in front of the cover of the ark. The cover is the place where sin is paid for. If he comes behind the curtain, he will die. That is because I appear in the cloud over the cover.

«كَلِّمْ أَخَاكَ هَرُونَ وَحَذِّرْهُ مِنَ الدُّخُولِ فِي كُلِّ وَقْتٍ إِلَى قُدْسِ الأَقْدَاسِ، وَرَاءَ الْحِجَابِ أَمَامَ غِطَاءِ التَّابُوتِ، لِئَلّا يَمُوتَ، لأَنَّنِي أَتَجَلَّى فِي السَّحَابِ عَلَى الْغِطَاءِ.

Над этой крышкой между золотыми херувимами невидимо пребывал Бог. В День очищения главный священник входил в Святое Святых с кровью жертвы за грехи народа и окроплял ею крышку ковчега. на ковчеге, иначе он умрет. Ведь Я буду являться в облаке над крышкой искупления.

耶和华对摩西说：“告诉你哥哥亚伦，他不可随意进入幔子里面的至圣所，走到约柜上的施恩座前，免得死亡，因为我要在施恩座之上的云彩中显现。

要 告 诉 你 哥 哥 亚 伦 ， 不 可 随 时 进 圣 所 的 幔 子 内 、 到 柜 上 的 施 恩 座 前 ， 免 得 他 死 亡 ， 因 为 我 要 从 云 中 显 现 在 施 恩 座 上 。

耶和華對摩西說：「告訴你哥哥亞倫，他不可隨意進入幔子裡面的至聖所，走到約櫃上的施恩座前，免得死亡，因為我要在施恩座之上的雲彩中顯現。
