Leviticus 11:1

The Lord spoke again to Moses and Aaron, saying to them,

And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

1-2 God spoke to Moses and Aaron: “Speak to the People of Israel. Tell them, Of all the animals on Earth, these are the animals that you may eat: 3-8 “You may eat any animal that has a split hoof, divided in two, and that chews the cud, but not an animal that only chews the cud or only has a split hoof. For instance, the camel chews the cud but doesn’t have a split hoof, so it’s unclean. The rock badger chews the cud but doesn’t have a split hoof and so it’s unclean. The rabbit chews the cud but doesn’t have a split hoof so is unclean. The pig has a split hoof, divided in two, but doesn’t chew the cud and so is unclean. You may not eat their meat nor touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you.

The Lord spoke again to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,

Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,

وَأَمَرَ الرَّبُّ مُوسَى وَهَرُونَ:

Derefter sagde Herren til Moses og Aron: 2-3 „Sig til Israels folk, at de dyr på landjorden, som må spises, indbefatter alle drøvtyggere med spaltede klove.

L’Eternel s’adressa à Moïse et à Aaron, et leur dit :

1-3 Ginsugo sang Ginoo si Moises kag si Aaron nga ihambal ini sa mga Israelinhon:Puwede ninyo kaunon ang bisan ano nga sapat nga nagakabuhi sa duta nga nagapihak ang ila kuko kag nagausang liwat sang ila kinaon.[a] 4-8 Pero indi ninyo pagkaunon ang mga sapat nga nagausang liwat sang ila kinaon pero wala nagapihak ang ila kuko, pareho sang kamelyo, badier[b] kag koneho. Indi man ninyo pagkaunon ang baboy, kay bisan tuod nga nagapihak ang iya kuko, wala ini nagausang liwat sang iya kinaon. Kabigon ninyo nga mahigko[c] ang ini nga mga sapat. Indi gid kamo magkaon sang ila mga karne ukon bisan magtandog sang ila patay nga mga lawas.

さて主は、モーセとアロンに命じました。 2-3 「人々に言いなさい。食用にできる動物は、ひづめが分かれ、反芻するものだけである。 4-7 らくだ、岩だぬき、野うさぎは食べてはならない。反芻はするが、ひづめが分かれていないからだ。ひづめは分かれているが、反芻しない豚もだめだ。

여호와께서 모세와 아론을 통해 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다.

Toen zei de Here tegen Mozes en Aäron: 2,3 ‘Zeg tegen het volk Israël dat ze alle dieren die gespleten hoeven hebben en hun voedsel herkauwen, mogen eten. 4-7 Dat houdt in dat de volgende dieren niet mogen worden gegeten: de kameel (hij herkauwt wel, maar heeft geen gespleten hoeven), de klipdas (deze herkauwt ook, maar heeft evenmin gespleten hoeven), de haas (die herkauwt ook, maar heeft ook geen gespleten hoeven), het zwijn (deze heeft wel gespleten hoeven, maar herkauwt niet). Al deze dieren moet u als onrein beschouwen.
