Lamentations 4:3

Even the jackals offer the breast,They nurse their young;But the daughter of my people has become cruelLike ostriches in the wilderness [that desert their young].

Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.

Even wild jackals nurture their babies, give them their breasts to suckle.But my people have turned cruel to their babies, like an ostrich in the wilderness.

حَتَّى بَنَاتُ آوَى تَكْشِفُ عَنْ ثَدْيهَا وَتُرْضِعُ أَجْرَاءَهَا، أَمَّا ابْنَةُ شَعْبِي فَقَاسِيَةٌ كَالنَّعَامِ فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ.

De vilde sjakaler giver deres unger die, men mit folks mødre er følelseskolde som ørkenens strudse.

여우도 제 새끼에게 젖을 먹이는데 내 백성은 잔인하여 사막의 타조 같구나.

Till och med schakalerna ger di och matar sina ungar, men dottern mitt folk har blivit lika grym som strutsarna i öknen.

แม้หมาในยังให้นมฟูมฟักลูกของมันแต่พี่น้องร่วมชาติของข้าพเจ้ากลับใจไม้ไส้ระกำเหมือนนกกระจอกเทศในทะเลทราย

豺狼尚且哺养自己的幼儿，我的子民却像荒野的鸵鸟一样残忍无情。

野 狗 尚 且 把 奶 乳 哺 其 子 ， 我 民 的 妇 人 倒 成 为 残 忍 ， 好 像 旷 野 的 鸵 鸟 一 般 。

豺狼尚且哺養自己的幼兒，我的子民卻像荒野的鴕鳥一樣殘忍無情。
