Judges 8:22

Then the men of Israel said to Gideon, “Rule [as king] over us, both you and your son, also your son’s son, for you have rescued us from the hand of Midian.”

Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.

The Israelites said, “Rule over us, you and your son and your grandson. You have saved us from Midian’s tyranny.”

Then the men of Israel said to Gideon, “Rule over us, both you and your son, also your son’s son, for you have delivered us from the hand of Midian.”

The Israelites said to Gideon, “Rule over us. We want you, your son and your grandson to be our rulers. You have saved us from the power of Midian.”

The Israelites said to Gideon, “Rule over us—you, your son and your grandson—because you have saved us from the hand of Midian.”

The Israelites said to Gideon, ‘Rule over us – you, your son and your grandson – because you have saved us from the hand of Midian.’

Then the Israelites said to Gideon, “Be our ruler! You and your son and your grandson will be our rulers, for you have rescued us from Midian.”

وَقَالَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ لِجِدْعُونَ: «تَسَلَّطْ عَلَيْنَا أَنْتَ وَابْنُكَ وَحَفِيدُكَ، لأَنَّكَ قَدْ أَنْقَذْتَنَا مِنَ الْمِدْيَانِيِّينَ»

Nu sagde israelitterne til Gideon: „Du og dine efterkommere skal regere over os, for du har reddet os fra midjanitterne!”
