Judges 2:17

Yet they did not listen to their judges, for they played the prostitute after other gods and they bowed down to them. They quickly turned aside from the way in which their fathers had walked in obeying the commandments of the Lord; they did not do as their fathers.

And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the Lord; but they did not so.

Men folket ville heller ikke adlyde deres befriere. De fortsatte med at være troløse imod Herren og med at tilbede andre guder. De fulgte således ikke deres forfædres levevis, for de adlød ikke længere Herrens bud.

Mais les Israélites n’obéirent pas non plus à ces chefs, ils se prostituaient avec d’autres dieux et se prosternaient devant eux. Ils s’écartèrent très vite du chemin qu’avaient suivi leurs ancêtres qui obéissaient aux commandements de l’Eternel ; ils ne suivirent pas leur exemple.

しかしイスラエルは、その士師にさえ耳を貸そうとせず、ほかの神々を拝んで、主への信仰を捨て去りました。なんと早く、彼らは主の命令に従うことを拒み、先祖が歩んだ信仰の道から離れてしまったことでしょう。

Maar ook dan wilden de Israëlieten nog niet naar de richters luisteren, maar werden zij de Here ontrouw door afgoden te aanbidden en zich daarvoor neer te buigen. Zij keerden zich erg snel af van de weg van hun voorouders door te weigeren de geboden van de Here te gehoorzamen.

Men folket brydde sig inte heller om att lyssna till domarna utan fortsatte att vara otrogna med andra gudar som de tillbad. De avfärdade mycket snart sina fäders tro och vägrade att följa Herren som deras fäder hade gjort i lydnad för hans bud.

กระนั้นอิสราเอลก็ไม่ยอมฟังผู้วินิจฉัย แต่ขายตัวให้พระอื่นๆ และนมัสการพระเหล่านั้น พวกเขาประพฤติแตกต่างจากบรรพบุรุษของพวกเขา พวกเขาหันเหจากวิถีทางแห่งการเชื่อฟังพระบัญชาขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าอย่างรวดเร็ว
