Joshua 6:26

Then Joshua made them take an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed before the Lord is the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho; with the loss of his firstborn he shall lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he shall set up its gates.”

And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the Lord, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

Joshua swore a solemn oath at that time:Cursed before God is the man who sets out to rebuild this city Jericho.He’ll pay for the foundation with his firstborn son, he’ll pay for the gates with his youngest son.

Then Joshua made them take an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed before the Lord is the man who rises up and builds this city Jericho; with the loss of his firstborn he shall lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he shall set up its gates.”

At that time Joshua made a promise and called down a curse. He said, “May the person who tries to rebuild this city of Jericho be under the Lord’s curse.“If that person lays its foundations, it will cost the life of his oldest son.If he sets up its gates, it will cost the life of his youngest son.”

At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: “Cursed before the Lord is the one who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho:“At the cost of his firstborn son he will lay its foundations;at the cost of his youngest he will set up its gates.”

At that time Joshua invoked this curse:“May the curse of the Lord fall on anyone who tries to rebuild the town of Jericho.At the cost of his firstborn son, he will lay its foundation.At the cost of his youngest son, he will set up its gates.”

فِي ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتِ أَنْذَرَ يَشُوعُ الشَّعْبَ قَائِلاً: «مَلْعُونٌ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ كُلُّ مَنْ يُحَاوِلُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ بِنَاءَ مَدِينَةِ أَرِيحَا، فَإِنَّ بِكْرَهُ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ يَضَعُ أَسَاسَاتِهَا، وَصَغِيرَهُ يَهْلِكُ وَهُوَ يُقِيمُ بَوَّابَاتِهَا».

Ved den lejlighed udtalte Josva i hele folkets påhør følgende forbandelse:Herren vil forbande enhver, som prøver at genopbygge Jeriko.Det vil koste hans ældste søns liv at lægge byens grundvold, og hans yngste søns liv at sætte portene i.

ヨシュアは、エリコを再建しようとする者には恐ろしい災いが下ると誓って言いました。その土台を築く者は長男を殺され、その門を建てる者は末息子を失うというのです。

그리고 여호수아는 이런 엄중한 경고를 내렸다. “이 여리고성을 재건하는 자는 여호와의 저주를 받을 것이다. 누구든지 이 성의 기초를 쌓는 자는 맏아들을 잃을 것이며 누구든지 성문을 세우는 자는 막내 아들을 잃을 것이다.”

Jozua sprak daarna een vreselijke vervloeking uit over iedereen die Jericho zou proberen te herbouwen. Het leggen van het fundament zou het leven van zijn oudste zoon kosten en als hij de poorten overeind zou zetten, zou dat gaan ten koste van zijn jongste zoon.

Então Josué declarou uma maldição sobre quem viesse a reconstruir Jericó, advertindo que, quando os seus fundamentos fossem repostos, o filho mais velho do construtor haveria de morrer e que, quando as suas portas fossem montadas, seria o filho mais novo desse alguém que morreria.

Vid den tiden uttalade Josua en ed: ”Förbannad inför Herren vare den man som företar sig att bygga upp denna stad, Jeriko, på nytt. När han lägger dess grund, ska det kosta honom hans förstfödde son, och när han sätter upp dess portar, ska det kosta honom hans yngste son.”

ในครั้งนั้นโยชูวาประกาศแช่งว่า “ผู้ใดที่จะสร้างเมืองเยรีโคขึ้นใหม่ ขอให้ผู้นั้นถูกสาปแช่งต่อหน้าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าดังนี้“ผู้ใดวางฐานรากของเมืองบุตรหัวปีของผู้นั้นจะเสียชีวิตผู้ใดติดตั้งประตูเมืองบุตรสุดท้องของผู้นั้นจะเสียชีวิต”

之后，约书亚起誓说：“重建耶利哥城的人必定在耶和华面前受咒诅，他立地基的时候必死长子，建城门的时候必丧幼子。”
