Joshua 4:14

On that day the Lord magnified and exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; so they feared him [with profound awe and reverence], just as they had feared Moses all the days of his life.

God made Joshua great that day in the sight of all Israel. They were in awe of him just as they had been in awe of Moses all his life. 15-16 God told Joshua, “Command the priests carrying the Chest of The Testimony to come up from the Jordan.”

فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ عَظَّمَ الرَّبُّ مَقَامَ يَشُوعَ فِي عُيُونِ جَمِيعِ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ، فَهَابُوهُ كَمَا هَابُوا مُوسَى كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِهِ.

Herren gjorde det sådan, at Josva den dag vandt stor respekt i folkets øjne. Den dagen upphöjde Herren Josua inför hela Israels folk. Nu respekterade de honom lika högt som Mose och det fortsatte de med under hela hans liv.
