Joshua 23:7

so that you do not associate with these nations which remain among you, or mention the name of their gods, or make anyone swear [an oath by them], or serve them, or bow down to them.

Don’t have anything to do with the nations that remain among you. Don’t use the names of their gods for any reason at all. Don’t give your word and make promises in their names. You must not serve them. You must not bow down to them.

لِكَيْ لَا تَخْتَلِطُوا بِهَؤُلاءِ الأُمَمِ الْبَاقِيَةِ مَعَكُمْ، وَلا تَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ آلِهَتِهَا وَلا تُقْسِمُوا بِها وَلا تَعْبُدُوهَا وَلا تَسْجُدُوا لَهَا.

Pas på, at I ikke blander jer med de hedenske folk, der endnu bor i landet. I må ikke dyrke deres guder eller sværge ved dem. Lad ikke engang navnene på deres guder komme over jeres læber.
