Then Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest and the leaders returned from the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad, from the land of Gilead to the land of Canaan, to the sons of Israel, and brought back word to them.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.

وَرَجَعَ فِينْحَاسُ بْنُ أَلِعَازَارَ الْكَاهِنُ وَالرُّؤَسَاءُ عَائِدِينَ مِنْ أَرْضِ جِلْعَادَ إِلَى أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ حَيْثُ يُقِيمُ الإِسْرَائِيلِيُّونَ وَأَخْبَرُوهُمْ بِجَوَابِهِمْ.

Så vendte Pinehas og hans delegation tilbage til Israels folk og fortalte, hvordan det var gået,
