Joshua 22:27

but to be a witness between us and you and between the generations after us, that we are to perform the service of the Lord before Him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices and with our peace offerings, so that your sons (descendants) will not say to our sons in time to come, “You have no part in the Lord.”’

“We built this altar as a witness between us and you and our children coming after us, a witness to the Altar where we worship God in his Sacred Dwelling with our Whole-Burnt-Offerings and our sacrifices and our Peace-Offerings.“This way, your children won’t be able to say to our children in the future, ‘You have no part in God.’

إِنَّمَا لِيَكُونَ شَاهِداً بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ أَجْيَالِنَا الْقَادِمَةِ بَعْدَنَا، بِأَنَّنَا نَعْبُدُ الرَّبَّ بِذَبَائِحِنَا وَمُحْرَقَاتِنَا وَتَقْدِمَاتِ سَلامِنَا، فَلا يَقُولُ أَبْنَاؤُكُمْ غَداً لأَبْنَائِنَا: لَيْسَ لَكُمْ نَصِيبٌ فِي الرَّبِّ.

sondern als Denkmal für uns und für euch und die Generationen nach uns. Er soll uns daran erinnern, dem Herrn zu dienen und vor seinem Heiligtum unsere Opfer darzubringen: Brandopfer, Schlachtopfer und Friedensopfer. Dann können eure Nachkommen nicht zu unseren sagen: ›Ihr dürft dem Herrn nicht dienen.‹

우리와 당신들 사이에, 그리고 우리 후손들과 당신들의 후손들 사이에 우리도 여호와 하나님 앞에서 번제와 화목제와 그 밖의 다른 제사로 여호와를 섬긴다는 것을 보여 주는 증거가 되어 훗날 당신들의 후손들이 우리 후손들에게 ‘너희는 여호와 우리 하나님과 아무 관계가 없다’ 고 하는 말을 못하도록 하기 위해서입니다.

只是在你们和我们之间，也在彼此的后人之间立个证据，证明我们也献燔祭、平安祭及其他祭事奉耶和华，免得日后你们的子孙对我们的子孙说，‘你们与耶和华一点关系也没有。’

乃 是 为 你 我 中 间 和 你 我 後 人 中 间 作 证 据 ， 好 叫 我 们 也 在 耶 和 华 面 前 献 燔 祭 、 平 安 祭 ， 和 别 的 祭 事 奉 他 ， 免 得 你 们 的 子 孙 日 後 对 我 们 的 子 孙 说 ， 你 们 与 耶 和 华 无 分 了 。
