Joshua 17:15

Then Joshua replied, “If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest and clear ground for yourselves there in the land of the Perizzites and the Rephaim, since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you.”

And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.

Joshua responded, “Since there are so many of you, and you find the hill country of Ephraim too confining, climb into the forest and clear ground there for yourselves in the land of the Perizzites and the Rephaim.”

Joshua said to them, “If you are a numerous people, go [l]up to the forest and [m]clear a place for yourself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the Rephaim, since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you.”

“That’s true,” Joshua said. “There are large numbers of you. And the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you. So go up into the forest. Clear out some land for yourselves in the territory of the Perizzites and Rephaites.”

“If you are so numerous,” Joshua answered, “and if the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you, go up into the forest and clear land for yourselves there in the land of the Perizzites and Rephaites.”

فَأَجَابَهُمْ يَشُوعُ: «إِنْ كُنْتُمْ حَقّاً كَثِيرِي الْعَدَدِ وَقَدْ ضَاقَ بِكُمْ جَبَلُ أَفْرَايِمَ، فَاصْعَدُوا إِلَى الأَرَاضِي الْوَعْرَةِ حَيْثُ يُقِيمُ الْفِرِزِّيُّونَ وَالرَّفَائِيُّونَ وَاقْتَطِعُوا لَكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِهِمْ مَا يَكْفِيكُمْ».

„Hvis der ikke er plads nok til jer i Efraims højland,” svarede Josva, „må I selv rydde skoven og indtage det område, hvor perizzitterne og refaitterne bor.”

Josué leur répondit : Si vous êtes tellement nombreux, et si la région montagneuse d’Ephraïm ne vous suffit pas, allez donc vous défricher du terrain dans les forêts appartenant aux Phéréziens et aux Rephaïm.

Nagsabat si Josue, “Kon madamo gid man kamo kag gamay lang para sa inyo ang mga kabukiran sang Efraim, kadto kamo sa mga kagulangan sang mga Periznon kag mga Refaimnon. Didto magpanghawan kamo sang lugar para sa inyo kaugalingon.”

Respondeu Josué: “Se vocês são tão numerosos, e se os montes de Efraim têm pouco espaço para vocês, subam, entrem na floresta e limpem o terreno para vocês na terra dos ferezeus e dos refains”.
