Joshua 14:3

For Moses had given an inheritance to the two tribes and the half-tribe beyond the Jordan; but he did not give [any territory as] an inheritance to the Levites among them.

إِذْ إِنَّ مُوسَى كَانَ قَدْ وَهَبَ السِّبْطَيْنِ وَنِصْفَ السِّبْطِ مِيرَاثاً فِي شَرْقِيِّ نَهْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ، وَأَمَّا اللّاوِيُّونَ فَلَمْ يُوَرِّثْهُمْ نَصِيباً بَيْنَهُمْ،

Zweieinhalb Stämme hatten bereits östlich des Jordan Grundbesitz erhalten. Nur den Leviten wurde kein Land zugeteilt.

Mose hade redan gett landområden åt de 2,5 stammarna på östra sidan Jordan. Åt leviterna gav han inget landområde bland dem.

โมเสสได้มอบดินแดนทางฟากตะวันออกของแม่น้ำจอร์แดนให้แก่สองเผ่าครึ่งเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์แล้ว แต่เผ่าเลวีไม่ได้รับกรรมสิทธิ์ใดๆ ท่ามกลางเผ่าที่เหลือ
