Jonah 3:10

When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God [had compassion and] relented concerning the disaster which He had declared that He would bring upon them. And He did not do it.

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

God saw what they had done, that they had turned away from their evil lives. He did change his mind about them. What he said he would do to them he didn’t do.

When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would [e]bring upon them. And He did not do it.

God saw what they did. He saw that they stopped doing what was evil. So he took pity on them. He didn’t destroy them as he had said he would.

فَلَمَّا رَأَى اللهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَتَوْبَتَهُمْ عَنْ طُرُقِهِمِ الآثِمَةِ عَدَلَ عَنِ الْعِقَابِ الَّذِي كَانَ مُزْمِعاً أَنْ يُوْقِعَهُ بِهِمْ وَعَفَا عَنْهُمْ.

Da Gud så, at indbyggerne omvendte sig fra deres ondskab, forbarmede han sig og ødelagde ikke byen, som han havde sagt, han ville gøre.

하나님은 그들이 자기들의 잘못을 뉘우치고 악한 길에서 돌아서는 것을 보시고 뜻을 돌이키셔서 그들에게 내리겠다고 선언하신 재앙을 내리지 않으셨다.

Toen God zag dat zij een eind hadden gemaakt aan hun misdadige gedrag, veranderde hij van gedachte en voerde de straf die Hij had aangekondigd, niet uit.

När Gud såg vad de gjorde, hur de vände om från sina onda levnadssätt, visade han barmhärtighet. Gud ångrade det onda han hade hotat dem med och fullföljde det inte.

เมื่อพระเจ้าทอดพระเนตรการกระทำของพวกเขาและเห็นเขาเลิกทำชั่ว ก็ทรงเอ็นดูสงสารและไม่ได้ทำลายพวกเขาตามที่ทรงคาดโทษไว้

上帝看见他们改邪归正，不再作恶，就怜悯他们，没有像所说的那样毁灭他们。

上帝看見他們改邪歸正，不再作惡，就憐憫他們，沒有像所說的那樣毀滅他們。
