John 1:20

And he confessed [truthfully] and did not deny [that he was only a man], but acknowledged, “I am not the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed)!”

Juan les contestó con claridad: —Yo no soy el Cristo.

He did not try to hide the truth. He spoke to them openly. He said, “I am not the Messiah.”

He came right out and said, “I am not the Messiah.”

فَاعْتَرَفَ وَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ، بَلْ أَكَّدَ قَائِلاً: «لَسْتُ أَنَا الْمَسِيحَ».

Gisultihan sila ni Juan sa walay lipodlipod, “Dili ako ang Cristo nga inyong gihulat.”

men han svarede uden omsvøb: „Jeg er ikke Messias.”

Er bekannte und ließ keinen Zweifel offen: »Ich bin nicht der Christus, der von Gott versprochene Retter.«

그래서 요한이 조금도 숨기지 않고 “나는 [e]그리스도가 아니다” 하고 솔직하게 말하자 그들은 다시 물었다.

Wtedy on jednoznacznie i dobitnie odpowiedział:—Nie jestem Mesjaszem!
