Job 24:1

“Why does the Almighty not set seasons for judgment?Why do those who know Him not see His days [for punishment of the wicked]?

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

1-12 “But if Judgment Day isn’t hidden from the Almighty, why are we kept in the dark?There are people out there getting by with murder— stealing and lying and cheating.They rip off the poor and exploit the unfortunate,Push the helpless into the ditch, bully the weak so that they fear for their lives.The poor, like stray dogs and cats, scavenge for food in back alleys.They sort through the garbage of the rich, eke out survival on handouts.Homeless, they shiver through cold nights on the street; they’ve no place to lay their heads.Exposed to the weather, wet and frozen, they huddle in makeshift shelters.Nursing mothers have their babies snatched from them; the infants of the poor are kidnapped and sold.They go about patched and threadbare; even the hard workers go hungry.No matter how backbreaking their labor, they can never make ends meet.People are dying right and left, groaning in torment. The wretched cry out for help and God does nothing, acts like nothing’s wrong! 13-17 “Then there are those who avoid light at all costs, who scorn the light-filled path.When the sun goes down, the murderer gets up— kills the poor and robs the defenseless.Sexual predators can’t wait for nightfall, thinking, ‘No one can see us now.’Burglars do their work at night, but keep well out of sight through the day. They want nothing to do with light.Deep darkness is morning for that bunch; they make the terrors of darkness their companions in crime.

“Why are [a]times not stored up by the Almighty,And why do those who know Him not see His days?

“Why doesn’t the Mighty One set a time for judging sinful people? Why do those who know him have to keep waiting for that day?

“Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?

‘Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?

“Why doesn’t the Almighty bring the wicked to judgment? Why must the godly wait for him in vain?

لِمَاذَا إِذاً لَمْ يُحَدِّدِ الْقَدِيرُ أَزْمِنَةَ الْمُحَاكَمَةِ، وَلِمَاذَا لَا يَرَى مُتَّقُوهُ يَوْمَهُ؟

Hvorfor dømmer Gud ikke de skyldige? Hvorfor redder han ikke de uskyldige?

»Warum setzt Gott, der Allmächtige,keine Gerichtstage fest?Warum muss jeder, der ihn kennt,vergeblich darauf warten?

»Si los tiempos no se esconden del Todopoderoso, ¿por qué no los perciben quienes dicen conocerlo?

Pourquoi le Tout-Puissant |n’a-t-il pas réservé des temps |pour exercer son jugement ?Et pourquoi ceux qui le connaissent |ne voient-ils pas les jours |de son intervention ?

“Ngaa wala nagatalana ang Makagagahom nga Dios sang tion sa paghukom sa malaot nga mga tawo? Ngaa wala makita sang mga nagakilala sa iya inang tion sa paghukom?

なぜ、神は法廷を開いて、私の訴えを聞いてくれないのか。なぜ、神を愛する者が待ちぼうけをくうのか。

“어째서 하나님이 심판의 시기를 정하지 않으시는가? 어째서 그를 아는 자들이 그 날을 헛되게 기다리는가?

‘Waarom opent God de rechtszitting niet om naar mijn verweer te luisteren? Waarom moeten zij die Hem kennen, zonder resultaat op Hem wachten?

“Por que o Todo-poderoso não marca as datas de julgamento?Por que aqueles que o conhecem não chegam a vê-las?

Porque é que o Todo-Poderoso não estabeleceum tempo de julgamento sobre a Terrae porque não veem esse dia chegar os que o conhecem?Porque hão de ser obrigados a esperar, em vão,os que creem nele?

De ce nu hotărăşte Cel Atotputernic vremuri pentru judecată? De ce aşteaptă în zadar astfel de zile cei ce Îl cunosc?

“ทำไมหนอองค์ทรงฤทธิ์จึงไม่ทรงกำหนดเวลาไว้เพื่อการพิพากษา?ทำไมบรรดาผู้ที่รู้จักพระองค์ต้องชะเง้อหาวันเวลาเช่นนั้นโดยเปล่าประโยชน์?
