Jeremiah 7:26

Yet they did not listen to Me and obey Me or bend their ear [to hear Me], but stiffened their neck; they did more evil and behaved worse than their fathers.

وَمَعَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُطِيعُونِي أَوْ يَسْمَعُونِي، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ قَسَّوْا قُلُوبَهُمْ، فَكَانُوا فِي تَصَرُّفِهِمْ أَشَرَّ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ.

ところがどうだ。彼らは耳を傾けるどころか、聞こうとするそぶりさえ見せなかった。先祖よりもさらに手のつけようもないくらいかたくなで反抗心が強く悪質だ。

너희는 내 말을 듣지도 않았고 귀를 기울이지도 않았으며 오히려 고집을 피우고 너희 조상들보다 더 많은 악을 행하였다.

Maar zij wilden niet naar hen luisteren en gaven niet de geringste aandacht aan de boodschap. Zij zijn koppig en opstandig, hun zonden zijn nog erger dan die van hun voorouders.

Men de har inte velat höra på mig, inte lyssna till mig. De har varit motspänstiga och gjort ännu mer ont än sina förfäder.’
