Jeremiah 52:3

For all this came about in Jerusalem and Judah because of the anger of the Lord, and [in the end] He cast them from His presence. And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَا أَصَابَ أُورُشَلِيمَ وَيَهُوذَا إِلا نَتِيجَةً لِغَضَبِ الرَّبِّ، حَتَّى إِنَّهُ نَبَذَهُمْ مِنْ حَضْرَتِهِ. وَتَمَرَّدَ صِدْقِيَّا عَلَى مَلِكِ بَابِلَ.

悪事の限りを尽くす王に、神はとうとう怒りを燃やし、バビロン王に反逆するよう仕向けたのです。こうして王とイスラエルの民は、神の前から追放され、エルサレムとユダをあとにして、遠くバビロンへ捕虜として連れ去られました。
