Jeremiah 51:1

Thus says the Lord:“Behold, I am going to stir up and put into action [a fury] against BabylonAnd against the [rebellious] people of Leb-kamai (Chaldea)A destroying wind and hostile spirit;

Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

God says more:“Watch this: I’m whipping upA death-dealing hurricane against Babylon—‘Hurricane Persia’— against all who live in that perverse land.I’m sending a cleanup crew into Babylon. They’ll clean the place out from top to bottom.When they get through there’ll be nothing left of her worth taking or talking about.They won’t miss a thing. A total and final Doomsday!Fighters will fight with everything they’ve got. It’s no-holds-barred.They will spare nothing and no one. It’s final and wholesale destruction—the end!Babylon littered with the wounded, streets piled with corpses.It turns out that Israel and Judah are not widowed after all.As their God, God-of-the-Angel-Armies, I am still alive and well, committed to them even thoughThey filled their land with sin against Israel’s most Holy God.

Thus says the Lord:“Behold, I am going to arouse against BabylonAnd against the inhabitants of [a]Leb-kamai[b]The spirit of a destroyer.

The Lord says,“I will stir up the spirits of destroyers. They will march out against Babylon and its people.

This is what the Lord says:“See, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon and the people of Leb Kamai.[a]

This is what the Lord says:“I will stir up a destroyer against Babylon and the people of Babylonia.[a]

وَهَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ الرَّبُّ: هَا أَنَا أُثِيرُ عَلَى بَابِلَ وَعَلَى الْمُقِيمِينَ فِي دِيَارِ الْكَلْدَانِيِّينَ رِيحاً مُهْلِكَةً.

Herren siger: „Jeg sender et ødelæggende stormvejr ind over Babylonien, en voldsom vind midt ind i landet.

»So spricht der Herr: Seht, ich lasse einen verheerenden Sturm[a] über Babylonien und seine Bewohner[b] kommen, denn dort haben sich meine Feinde zusammengerottet.

Amo pa gid ini ang ginsiling sang Ginoo parte sa Babilonia: “Hangkaton ko ang manuglaglag sa pagsalakay sa Babilonia kag sa iya katawhan.[a]

神はこう言います。「わたしは、カルデヤ人の住むバビロンを隅々まで滅ぼす者たちを、勇気づける。

여호와께서 말씀하신다. “내가 [a]멸망의 바람을 일으켜 바빌로니아와 그 백성을 치고

De Here zegt: ‘Ik zal een vernietiger Babel en alle inwoners laten overvallen.

Assim diz o Senhor:“Vejam! Levantarei um vento destruidor contra a Babilônia,contra o povo de Lebe-Camai[a].

Diz o Senhor: “Suscitarei um destruidor contra a Babilónia, contra toda a terra dos caldeus, que será arruinada.

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul:«Iată, voi stârni un duh nimicitor împotriva Babilonului şi împotriva locuitorilor din Leb-Kamai[a].

Så säger Herren: ”Jag ska väcka upp en våldsam storm mot Babylon och mot Lev Kamajs invånare.[a]

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า“ดูเถิด เราจะดลใจผู้ทำลายล้างมาสู้กับบาบิโลนและชาวเลบคามาย[a]

耶和华说：“看啊，我要使毁灭的暴风袭击巴比伦和住在立加米的人。

耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 我 必 使 毁 灭 的 风 刮 起 ， 攻 击 巴 比 伦 和 住 在 立 加 米 的 人 。
