Jeremiah 44:17

But rather we will certainly perform every word of the vows we have made: to burn sacrifices to the [b]queen of heaven (Ishtar) and to pour out drink offerings to her, just as we ourselves and our forefathers, our kings and our princes did in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; for [then] we had plenty of food and were prosperous and saw no misfortune.

But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

We’ll do just as we and our people of long ago have done. Our kings and our officials also did it. All of us did it in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. At that time we had plenty of food. We were well off. We didn’t suffer any harm.

بَلْ نَعْمَلَ بِمُقْتَضَى مَا تَعَهَّدْنَا بِهِ، فَنُحْرِقُ بَخُوراً لِمَلِكَةِ السَّمَاءِ وَنُقَرِّبُ لَهَا السَّكَائِبَ كَمَا سَبَقَ أَنْ فَعَلْنَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا وَمُلُوكُنَا وَرُؤَسَاؤُنَا فِي مُدُنِ يَهُوذَا وَفِي شَوَارِعِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، فَكَانَتْ لَنَا وَفْرَةٌ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ وَتَمَتَّعْنَا بِالْخَيْرِ وَلَمْ يُصِبْنَا شَرٌّ.

Vi har lovet at brænde røgelse for Himlens Dronning og give hende drikofre, og det vil vi blive ved med. Det er jo ikke andet end det, vores forfædre og konger og ledere gjorde før i tiden i Judas byer og Jerusalems gader.[a] Dengang led vi ingen nød. Wir wollen weiterhin der Himmelskönigin[a] Räucheropfer und Trankopfer darbringen, so wie wir, unsere Vorfahren, unsere Könige und führenden Männer es schon früher getan haben. Wir stehen zu dem, was wir versprochen haben, und lassen uns durch niemanden davon abbringen! Als wir die Himmelskönigin noch in der Heimat verehrten, ging es uns gut. Wir hatten genug zu essen und blieben vom Unglück verschont.

Nous ferons plutôt selon ce que nous avons décidé : nous offrirons des parfums à la Reine du ciel[b] et nous répandrons des libations en son honneur, comme nous l’avons fait, nous et nos ancêtres, nos rois et nos dirigeants, dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem. Alors, nous mangions à notre faim et nous étions heureux, nous ne connaissions pas le malheur.

Himuon gid namon ang tanan nga gusto namon himuon: Magasunog kami sang insenso sa amon diosa nga ‘Rayna sang Langit’ kag magahalad kami sa iya sang halad nga ilimnon pareho sang ginhimo namon sa mga banwa sang Juda kag sa mga dalan sang Jerusalem. Amo man ini ang ginhimo sang amon mga katigulangan kag sang amon mga hari kag mga opisyal. Sadto nga tion maayo ang amon kahimtangan; madamo kami sang pagkaon kag wala sing may malain nga natabo sa amon.

好きなようにさせてください。先祖や王たち、重立った人たちが、ユダの町々やエルサレムでいつもしていたように、『天の女王』に思うぞんぶん香をたきたいのです。あのころは、食べ物がどっさりあり、幸せいっぱいでした。

우리는 우리가 하고 싶은 대로 하여 우리와 우리 조상들과 우리 왕들과 우리 지도자들이 유다 성들과 예루살렘 거리에서 행한 것처럼 하늘의 여왕에게 분향하고 그 앞에 술을 따라 제사를 드리겠소. 그 때에는 우리가 먹을 것이 많아 풍족하게 살며 재앙 같은 것도 당하지 않았는데

Wij doen wat wij zelf willen. Wij branden reukwerk voor de “koningin van de hemel” en offeren haar net zo vaak als wij zelf willen, net als onze voorouders, koningen en functionarissen altijd hebben gedaan in de steden van Juda en de straten van Jeruzalem. Want in die tijd hadden wij genoeg te eten en ontbrak het ons aan niets. Dat was een gelukkige tijd!

É certo que faremos tudo o que dissemos que faríamos — queimaremos incenso à Rainha dos Céus e derramaremos ofertas de bebidas para ela, tal como fazíamos, nós e nossos antepassados, nossos reis e nossos líderes, nas cidades de Judá e nas ruas de Jerusalém. Apresentar-lhe-emos sacrifícios, tantos quanto quisermos, tal como já nós próprios fizemos e os nossos pais antes de nós, assim como os nossos reis e nobres sempre fizeram nas cidades de Judá e nas ruas de Jerusalém. E nesses dias até tínhamos abundância de comida, tudo nos corria bem e éramos felizes!

Vi tänker göra allt som vi har sagt, tända rökelse åt himlens drottning och utgjuta dryckesoffer till henne, precis som vi gjorde förr, vi och våra förfäder, våra kungar och furstar, i Juda städer och på Jerusalems gator. På den tiden hade vi tillräckligt med mat, allt var bra och vi hade inga problem.

但我们必照所许的愿向天后烧香奠酒，正如我们和我们的祖先、君王和官长在犹大各城和耶路撒冷街上所做的一样。那时，我们食物充足，生活幸福，无灾无祸。

我 们 定 要 成 就 我 们 口 中 所 出 的 一 切 话 ， 向 天 后 烧 香 、 浇 奠 祭 ， 按 着 我 们 与 我 们 列 祖 、 君 王 、 首 领 在 犹 大 的 城 邑 中 和 耶 路 撒 冷 的 街 市 上 素 常 所 行 的 一 样 ； 因 为 那 时 我 们 吃 饱 饭 、 享 福 乐 ， 并 不 见 灾 祸 。

但我們必照所許的願向天后燒香奠酒，正如我們和我們的祖先、君王和官長在猶大各城和耶路撒冷街上所做的一樣。那時，我們食物充足，生活幸福，無災無禍。
