Jeremiah 42:14

saying, “No, but we will go to the land of Egypt, where we will not see war or hear the sound of the [warrior’s] trumpet or hunger for bread, and we will stay there,”

Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:

saying, “No, but we will go to the land of Egypt, where we will not see war or hear the sound of a trumpet or hunger for bread, and we will stay there”;

And suppose you say, ‘No! We’ll go and live in Egypt. There we won’t have to face war anymore. We won’t hear the trumpets of war. And we won’t get hungry.’

and if you say, ‘No, we will go and live in Egypt, where we will not see war or hear the trumpet or be hungry for bread,’

and if you say, “No, we will go and live in Egypt, where we will not see war or hear the trumpet or be hungry for bread,”

instead, we will go to Egypt where we will be free from war, the call to arms, and hunger,’

قَائِلِينَ: لَا بَلْ نَنْطَلِقُ إِلَى دِيَارِ مِصْرَ حَيْثُ لَا نَشْهَدُ قِتَالاً، وَلا نَسْمَعُ نَفِيرَ بُوقٍ، وَلا يُعْوِزُنَا خُبْزٌ، فَنَمْكُثُ هُنَاكَ،

und nach Ägypten fliehen, wo wir nichts mehr vom Krieg sehen, keine Alarmsignale hören und nicht mehr hungern müssen. Dort wollen wir wohnen!‹

또 ‘아닙니다. 우리는 전쟁도 볼 수 없고 나팔 소리도 들을 수 없으며 먹을 것을 걱정하지 않아도 되는 이집트 땅으로 가서 살겠습니다’ 하고 말한다면 이것은 잘못된 것입니다.

e se disserem: ‘Não, nós iremos para o Egito, onde não veremos a guerra nem ouviremos o som da trombeta, nem passaremos fome’,

และถ้าท่านกล่าวว่า ‘เราจะไปอาศัยอยู่ในอียิปต์ จะได้ไม่ต้องเห็นสงคราม หรือได้ยินเสียงแตรศึก หรือหิวโหย’

非要去埃及住，以为那里没有战争，听不见号角声，也不会忍饥挨饿，

说 ： 我 们 不 住 这 地 ， 却 要 进 入 埃 及 地 ， 在 那 里 看 不 见 争 战 ， 听 不 见 角 声 ， 也 不 致 无 食 饥 饿 。 我 们 必 住 在 那 里 。

非要去埃及住，以為那裡沒有戰爭，聽不見號角聲，也不會忍饑挨餓，
