Jeremiah 4:1

“If you will return, O Israel,” says the Lord,“If you will return to Me,And if you will put away your detestable things and remove your man-made gods from My sight,And not stray or waver,

If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the Lord, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

1-2 “If you want to come back, O Israel, you must really come back to me.You must get rid of your stinking sin paraphernalia and not wander away from me anymore.Then you can say words like, ‘As God lives . . .’ and have them mean something true and just and right.And the godless nations will get caught up in the blessing and find something in Israel to write home about.” 3-4 Here’s another Message from God to the people of Judah and Jerusalem:“Plow your unplowed fields, but then don’t plant weeds in the soil!Yes, circumcise your lives for God’s sake. Plow your unplowed hearts, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem.Prevent fire—the fire of my anger— for once it starts it can’t be put out.Your wicked ways are fuel for the fire. God’s Sledgehammer Anger5-8 “Sound the alarm in Judah, broadcast the news in Jerusalem.Say, ‘Blow the ram’s horn trumpet through the land!’ Shout out—a bullhorn bellow!—‘Close ranks! Run for your lives to the shelters!’Send up a flare warning Zion: ‘Not a minute to lose! Don’t sit on your hands!’Disaster’s descending from the north. I set it off! When it lands, it will shake the foundations.Invaders have pounced like a lion from its cover, ready to rip nations to shreds,Leaving your land in wrack and ruin, your cities in rubble, abandoned.Dress in funereal black. Weep and wail,For God’s sledgehammer anger has slammed into us head-on.

“If you will return, O Israel,” declares the Lord,“Then you should return to Me.And if you will put away your detested things from My presence,And will not waver,

“If you, Israel, will return,” announces the Lord. “then return to me,”“Put the statues of your gods out of my sight. I hate them. Stop going astray.

“If you, Israel, will return, then return to me,”declares the Lord.“If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go astray,

‘If you, Israel, will return, then return to me,’declares the Lord.‘If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go astray,

“O Israel,” says the Lord, “if you wanted to return to me, you could.You could throw away your detestable idols and stray away no more.

وَيَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: «إِنْ رَجَعْتَ إِلَيَّ يَا شَعْبَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَأَزَلْتَ أَصْنَامَكَ الْمَقِيتَةَ مِنْ أَمَامِي، وَكَفَفْتَ عَنِ الضَّلالِ،

Åh, mit folk, Israel, vend tilbage til mig. Hvis I skiller jer af med jeres væmmelige afguder, hvis I holder op med at gå jeres egne veje,

Der Herr lässt dir verkünden: »Kehr um, Israel, komm zurück zu mir! Wirf deine abscheulichen Götzen weg und wende dich nicht länger von mir ab.

«Israel, si piensas volver, vuélvete a mí —afirma el Señor—.Si quitas de mi vista tus ídolos abominables y no te alejas de mí,

Nagsiling ang Ginoo, “O Israel, kuntani magbalik ka na sa akon. Kon isikway mo ang imo makangilil-ad nga mga dios-dios kag indi ka na magbiya sa akon,

「イスラエルよ、本気でわたしのもとへ帰りたければ、偶像を完全に捨てよ。

여호와께서 말씀하신다. “이스라엘아, 네가 돌아오려거든 나에게 돌아오너 라. 네가 만일 내가 지긋지긋하게 여기는 우상을 내 앞에서 제거하고 마음이 흔들리지 않으며

‘Och Israël, als u werkelijk naar Mij wilt terugkeren, uw afschuwelijke afgoden wegdoet en niet meer van Mij afdwaalt,

“Se você voltar, ó Israel, volte para mim”, diz o Senhor.“Se você afastar para longe de minha vista os seus ídolos detestáveis, e não se desviar,

“Ó Israel, se voltarem para mim renegando as vossas abominações, diz o Senhor, se deixarem os ídolos que detesto, não precisarão de andar sem rumo;

„Dacă te vei întoarce, Israele, zice Domnul, dacă te vei întoarce la Mine,dacă vei alunga urâciunile tale dinaintea Mea şi nu vei mai rătăci,

– Если вернёшься, Исраил, – возвещает Вечный, – если вернёшься ко Мне,удалишь мерзких идолов с глаз Моих и не будешь больше скитаться,

”Om du vill vända tillbaka, Israel, säger Herren, så vänd om till mig. Gör dig av med dina vidriga avgudar, ta bort dem ur min åsyn och sluta upp med att irra omkring.

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าประกาศว่า“อิสราเอลเอ๋ย หากเจ้าจะหันกลับมา หากเจ้าจะกลับมาหาเราหากเจ้ากำจัดเทวรูปอันน่าชิงชังออกไปให้พ้นหน้าเราและไม่หลงเตลิดอีกต่อไป

耶和华说：“以色列啊，如果你回转归向我，回转归向我，从我眼前除掉可憎的神像，不再离开我；

耶 和 华 说 ： 以 色 列 啊 ， 你 若 回 来 归 向 我 ， 若 从 我 眼 前 除 掉 你 可 憎 的 偶 像 ， 你 就 不 被 迁 移 。

耶和華說：「以色列啊，如果你回轉歸向我，回轉歸向我，從我眼前除掉可憎的神像，不再離開我；
