Jeremiah 34:17

“Therefore says the Lord, ‘You have not obeyed Me; you have not proclaimed liberty to your brother and your countryman. Behold (listen very carefully), I am proclaiming liberty to you—[liberty to be put] to the sword, [liberty] to [be ravaged by] the virulent disease, and [liberty] to [be decimated by] famine,’ says the Lord; ‘and I will make you a horror and a warning to all the kingdoms of the earth.

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the Lord, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

“Therefore thus says the Lord, ‘You have not obeyed Me in proclaiming [f]release each man to his brother and each man to his neighbor. Behold, I am proclaiming a [g]release to you,’ declares the Lord, ‘to the sword, to the pestilence and to the famine; and I will make you a terror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

So the Lord says, “You have not obeyed me. You have not set your Hebrew slaves free. So now I will set you free,” announces the Lord. “I will set you free to be destroyed by war, plague and hunger. I will make all the kingdoms on earth displeased with you.

“Therefore this is what the Lord says: You have not obeyed me; you have not proclaimed freedom to your own people. So I now proclaim ‘freedom’ for you, declares the Lord—‘freedom’ to fall by the sword, plague and famine. I will make you abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth.

‘Therefore this is what the Lord says: you have not obeyed me; you have not proclaimed freedom to your own people. So I now proclaim “freedom” for you, declares the Lord – “freedom” to fall by the sword, plague and famine. I will make you abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth.

“Therefore, this is what the Lord says: Since you have not obeyed me by setting your countrymen free, I will set you free to be destroyed by war, disease, and famine. You will be an object of horror to all the nations of the earth.

لِذَلِكَ يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: «لأَنَّكُمْ لَمْ تُطِيعُونِي وَلَمْ تُنَادُوا بِعَتْقِ إِخْوَتِكُمْ، لِذَلِكَ سَأُنَادِي أَنَا بِعَتْقِكُمْ فَأُطْلِقُكُمْ لِتَسْقُطُوا بِحَدِّ السَّيْفِ وَالْوَبَاءِ وَالْجُوعِ، وَأَجْعَلُكُمْ عُرْضَةً لِلرُّعْبِ فِي جَمِيعِ مَمَالِكِ الأَرْضِ،

Derfor, siger Herren, siden I ikke adlød mig og frigav jeres landsmænd, vil jeg ‚frigive’ jer til at blive udryddet ved krig, hungersnød og epidemier. Jeg gør jer til et afskrækkende eksempel for resten af verden.

Und nun hört, was ich euch sage: Ihr habt meine Worte in den Wind geschlagen und euren Brüdern und Schwestern nicht die Freiheit geschenkt. Darauf könnt ihr euch verlassen! 18-19 Die führenden Männer von Juda und Jerusalem, die Hofbeamten, die Priester und das übrige Volk dieses Landes haben mit mir einen Bund geschlossen: Sie zerlegten ein Kalb in zwei Hälften und schritten zwischen ihnen hindurch. Doch dann haben sie den Bund mit mir gebrochen und sich nicht an ihre Verpflichtungen gehalten. Darum werde ich sie so zurichten wie das Kalb, zwischen dessen Teilen sie hindurchgegangen sind.

»Por tanto, así dice el Señor: “No me han obedecido, pues no han dejado en libertad a sus hermanos. Por tanto, yo proclamo contra ustedes una liberación —afirma el Señor—: dejaré en libertad a la guerra, la pestilencia y el hambre para que lo que les pase a ustedes sirva de escarmiento para todos los reinos de la tierra.

C’est pourquoi, voici ce que déclare l’Eternel : Puisque vous ne m’avez pas obéi en déclarant libre chacun son compatriote et son prochain, eh bien, moi, je proclame votre « libération » – l’Eternel le déclare – votre libération pour l’épée, la peste et la famine, et vous inspirerez l’effroi à tous les royaumes de la terre.

結局おまえたちはわたしの言うことを聞こうとせず、奴隷を解放しなかったので、戦争とききんと疫病でおまえたちを殺す。流浪の民として世界中に散らす。 18-19 おまえたちは契約を守らなかったので、誓いを確かなものとするために牛を二つに断ち切ってその間を通る儀式にならい、おまえたちを真っ二つにする。高官であろうが、宮廷の役人であろうが、祭司であろうが、一般市民であろうが、誓いを破った以上は、家畜のように殺す。

“그러므로 나 여호와가 말한다. 너희가 나에게 순종하지 않고 너희 동족에게 자유를 주지 않았으므로 이제 내가 너희에게 자유를 선언한다. 이 자유는 너희가 전쟁과 질병과 기근에 죽는 자유이다. 내가 너희를 온 세계에 흩어 버릴 것이다. 18-19 유다와 예루살렘의 지도자들과 궁중 관리들과 제사장들과 너희 모든 백성들이 송아지를 둘로 쪼개고 그 사이를 지남으로 나와 계약을 맺었다. 그러나 너희는 그 계약을 어기고 지키지 않았다. 그러므로 너희가 송아지에게 한 것처럼 나도 너희에게 할 것이다.

Därför säger Herren så: ’Ni har inte lytt mig. Ni har inte släppt era bröder och landsmän. Därför ska jag släppa lös svärd, pest och hungersnöd över er, säger Herren. Jag ska göra er till en förskräckelse för alla riken på jorden.

所 以 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 你 们 没 有 听 从 我 ， 各 人 向 弟 兄 邻 舍 宣 告 自 由 。 看 哪 ！ 我 向 你 们 宣 告 一 样 自 由 ， 就 是 使 你 们 自 由 於 刀 剑 、 饥 荒 、 瘟 疫 之 下 ， 并 且 使 你 们 在 天 下 万 国 中 抛 来 抛 去 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。
