Jeremiah 32:33

They have turned their back to Me and not their face; though I taught them repeatedly, yet they would not listen and receive instruction.

And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.

وَأَوْلُونِي ظُهُورَهُمْ وَلَيْسَ وُجُوهَهُمْ. وَمَعَ أَنِّي عَلَّمْتُهُمْ مُنْذُ الْبَدْءِ مَرَّةً تِلْوَ الأُخْرَى، إِلا أَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَسْمَعُوا لِيَقْبَلُوا تَأْدِيبِي.

De vendte mig ryggen i stedet for at søge min hjælp. Dag efter dag, år efter år, forsøgte jeg at lære dem at handle ret, men de ville ikke høre på mig.
