Jeremiah 3:19

“Then I said,‘How [gloriously and honorably] I would set you among My childrenAnd give you a pleasant land—a wonderful heritage,The most beautiful inheritance of the nations!’And I said, ‘You shall call Me, My FatherAnd not turn away from following Me.’

But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

“Then I said,‘How I would set you among [k]My sonsAnd give you a pleasant land,The most beautiful inheritance of the nations!’And I said, ‘You shall call Me, My Father,And not turn away from following Me.’

“I myself said,“ ‘I would gladly treat you like my children. I would give you a pleasant land. It is the most beautiful land any nation could have.’I thought you would call me ‘Father.’ I hoped you would always obey me.

“I myself said,“‘How gladly would I treat you like my children and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.’I thought you would call me ‘Father’ and not turn away from following me.

‘I myself said,‘“How gladly would I treat you like my children and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.”I thought you would call me “Father” and not turn away from following me.

“I thought to myself, ‘I would love to treat you as my own children!’I wanted nothing more than to give you this beautiful land— the finest possession in the world.I looked forward to your calling me ‘Father,’ and I wanted you never to turn from me.

وَلَكِنِّي قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي: لَشَدَّ مَا يُسْعِدُنِي أَنْ أُقِيمَكِ بَيْنَ الأَبْنَاءِ وَأُوَرِّثَكِ أَرْضاً شَهِيَّةً هِيَ أَجْمَلُ مِيرَاثٍ بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ. وَفَكَّرْتُ أَنَّكِ تَدْعِينَنِي يَا أَبِي، وَلَنْ تَرْتَدِّي عَنِ اتِّبَاعِي.

Jeg ønskede at betragte jer som mine børn og give jer dette vidunderlige land, den skønneste plet på jorden. Jeg havde håbet, at I ville betragte mig som jeres far, og at I trofast ville gøre, hvad jeg bad jer om.

Israel, ich wollte dich zu meinem geliebten Kind machen und dir ein herrliches Land geben, das prächtigste weit und breit. Ich dachte, du würdest mich dann ›Vater‹ nennen und dich nicht mehr von mir abwenden.

»Yo mismo dije:»“¡Cómo quisiera tratarte como a un hijo, y darte una tierra codiciable, la heredad más hermosa de las naciones!”Yo creía que me llamarías “Padre mío”, y que nunca dejarías de seguirme.

Et moi, qui me disais :Je voudrais vous traiter |comme des fils !J’aimerais vous donner |un pays de délices,le plus beau patrimoine |parmi ceux des nations.Je me disais aussi :Vous m’appellerez : « Père »et vous ne cesserez pas de me suivre.

Ako mismo ang nagsiling, ‘Malipayon gid ako nga kabigon kamo nga akon mga anak kag hatagan sang maayo nga duta, nga amo ang pinakamatahom nga palanublion sa bug-os nga kalibutan.’ Abi ko tawgon ninyo ako nga ‘Amay’ kag indi na kamo magbiya sa akon.

わたしは、おまえたちがわたしの子らといっしょにこの地にいるのは、どんなにすばらしいことかと考えていた。おまえたちに、世界で一番美しいこの国の一部を与えようと思っていた。また、おまえたちがわたしを「父」と呼ぶ日を待ちわび、おまえたちが二度とわたしから離れないと考えていた。

“나는 너희가 내 자녀로 여기에 있었으면 얼마나 좋을까 하고 생각하였다. 나는 세상에서 제일 아름다운 이 땅을 너희에게 주기로 계획하였고 너희가 나를 아버지라고 부르기를 기대하고 있었으며 너희가 다시는 나를 떠나지 않을 것으로 생각하였다.

En Ik bedacht hoe heerlijk het zou zijn als Ik u als mijn eigen kinderen kon verzorgen. Ik was van plan u dit prachtige land, het mooiste ter wereld, te geven. Ik verlangde ernaar dat u Mij vader zou noemen en Ik dacht dat u zich nooit meer van Mij zou afkeren.

“Eu mesmo disse:Com que alegria eu a trataria como se tratam filhose lhe daria uma terra aprazível, a mais bela herança entre as nações!Pensei que você me chamaria de ‘Pai’ e que não deixaria de seguir-me.

E pensei como seria maravilhoso que vocês aqui estivessem entre os meus filhos! Fiz planos de vos dar parte desta bela terra, a melhor do mundo. Previ que me chamariam pai e imaginei que nunca mais me deixariam.

Îmi spuneam:‘O, cum te voi pune[b] în numărul fiilor Mei şi-ţi voi da drept moştenire o ţară plăcută, cea mai frumoasă moştenire dintre neamuri!’Mă gândeam că Mă vei numi Tată şi nu te vei mai abate de la a Mă urma.

– Я думал: с какой радостью Я принял бы вас, как Своих детей,и дал бы вам желанную землю, прекраснейшее наследие всех народов!Я думал: вы назовёте Меня Отцом и не отступите от Меня.

Jag tänkte: ’Hur gärna vill jag inte behandla dig som ett barn och ge dig ett underbart land, det härligaste arvet bland folken.’ Jag tänkte att du skulle kalla mig din Far och aldrig mer vända dig bort från mig.

“เราเองลั่นวาจาไว้ว่า“ ‘เรายินดีเหลือเกินที่จะปฏิบัติต่อเจ้าเยี่ยงลูกและมอบดินแดนอันน่าปรารถนาแก่เจ้าเป็นสมบัติอันงดงามที่สุดของชาติต่างๆ’เราคิดว่าเจ้าจะเรียกเราว่า ‘พ่อ’และจะติดตามเราโดยไม่หันหนีไปไหนอีกเลย

“我曾想，我多么愿意把你们当成我的儿女，赐给你们万国中最肥美的土地。我原以为你们会叫我‘父亲’，再不离弃我。

我 说 ： 我 怎 样 将 你 安 置 在 儿 女 之 中 ， 赐 给 你 美 地 ， 就 是 万 国 中 肥 美 的 产 业 。 我 又 说 ： 你 们 必 称 我 为 父 ， 也 不 再 转 去 不 跟 从 我 。

「我曾想，我多麼願意把你們當成我的兒女，賜給你們萬國中最肥美的土地。我原以為你們會叫我『父親』，再不離棄我。
