Jeremiah 27:18

But if they are [true] prophets, and if the word of the Lord is [really spoken] by them, let them now entreat the Lord of hosts that the articles which are [still] left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem may not go to Babylon.

But if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

If they really are prophets and speak the Lord’s messages, let them pray to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Let them pray that the articles remaining in the Lord’s Temple and in the king’s palace and in the palaces of Jerusalem will not be carried away to Babylon!’

وَإِنْ كَانُوا حَقّاً أَنْبِيَاءَ، وَإِنْ كَانَ حَقّاً وَحْيُ الرَّبِّ لَدَيْهِمْ فَلْيَبْتَهِلُوا إِلَى الرَّبِّ الْقَدِيرِ لِكَيْ لَا يُحْمَلَ مَا تَبَقَّى مِنْ آنِيَةِ هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ، وَقَصْرِ مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، وَأُورُشَلِيمَ إِلَى بَابِلَ.

Hvis de profeter virkelig var sendt af Herren, den Almægtige, så ville de bede ham om at skåne de kostbarheder, der endnu er tilbage i templet, i kongepaladset og andre steder i byen, så de ikke også ender i Babylon. 19-22 Herren, den Almægtige, siger: Nebukadnezar bortførte i første omgang Jerusalems og Judas overklasse til Babylon sammen med kong Jekonja. Wenn eure Propheten wirklich Propheten wären, zu denen ich, der Herr, der allmächtige Gott, spreche, dann würden sie zu mir beten.
