Jeremiah 26:19

“Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put Micah to death? Did he not [reverently] fear the Lord and entreat the favor of the Lord? And did not the Lord relent and reverse His decision concerning the misfortune which He had pronounced against them? But [here] we are [thinking of] committing a great evil against ourselves.”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the Lord, and besought the Lord, and the Lord repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.

“Did King Hezekiah or anyone else in Judah kill Micah of Moresheth because of that sermon? Didn’t Hezekiah honor him and pray for mercy from God? And then didn’t God call off the disaster he had threatened? “Friends, we’re at the brink of bringing a terrible calamity upon ourselves.” 20-23 (At another time there had been a man, Uriah son of Shemaiah from Kiriath-jearim, who had preached similarly in the name of God. He preached against this same city and country just as Jeremiah did. When King Jehoiakim and his royal court heard his sermon, they determined to kill him. Uriah, afraid for his life, went into hiding in Egypt. King Jehoiakim sent Elnathan son of Achbor with a posse of men after him. They brought him back from Egypt and presented him to the king. And the king had him killed. They dumped his body unceremoniously outside the city.

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and entreat the favor of the Lord, and the Lord [e]changed His mind about the misfortune which He had pronounced against them? But we are committing a great evil against ourselves.”

Did King Hezekiah or anyone else in Judah put Micah to death? Hezekiah had respect for the Lord and tried to please him. And the Lord didn’t judge Jerusalem as he said he would. He didn’t bring on it the trouble he said he would bring. But we are about to bring horrible trouble on ourselves!”

“Did Hezekiah king of Judah or anyone else in Judah put him to death? Did not Hezekiah fear the Lord and seek his favor? And did not the Lord relent, so that he did not bring the disaster he pronounced against them? We are about to bring a terrible disaster on ourselves!”

‘Did Hezekiah king of Judah or anyone else in Judah put him to death? Did not Hezekiah fear the Lord and seek his favour? And did not the Lord relent, so that he did not bring the disaster he pronounced against them? We are about to bring a terrible disaster on ourselves!’

But did King Hezekiah and the people kill him for saying this? No, they turned from their sins and worshiped the Lord. They begged him for mercy. Then the Lord changed his mind about the terrible disaster he had pronounced against them. So we are about to do ourselves great harm.”

فَهَلْ قَتَلَهُ حَزَقِيَّا مَلِكُ يَهُوذَا وَكُلُّ شَعْبِ يَهُوذَا؟ أَمَا اتَّقَى الرَّبَّ وَاسْتَعْطَفَهُ، فَامْتَنَعَ الرَّبُّ عَنِ الشَّرِّ الَّذِي قَضَى بِهِ عَلَيْهِمْ؟ إِنَّنَا نَكَادُ نَجْلِبُ بَلاءً عَظِيماً عَلَى أَنْفُسِنَا».

Hvordan reagerede kong Hizkija og folket på det budskab? Slog de Mika ihjel? Nej, de vendte sig fra deres ondskab og tilbad Herren. De bønfaldt ham om at være nådig. Derfor tilbageholdt Herren den frygtelige dom, som han havde udtalt over dem. Hvis vi nu slår Jeremias ihjel, hvem ved, hvad Herren så vil gøre imod os?”

Doch weder König Hiskia von Juda noch das Volk ließen ihn deswegen töten; nein, Hiskia hatte Ehrfurcht vor dem Herrn und flehte zu ihm um Erbarmen. Da ließ der Herr das Unheil nicht geschehen, das er angekündigt hatte. – Wenn wir jetzt Jeremia töten, bringen wir großes Unglück über uns selbst!« Der Prophet Uria bezahlt seine Botschaft mit dem Leben

»¿Acaso Ezequías, rey de Judá, y todo su pueblo mataron a Miqueas? ¿No es verdad que Ezequías temió al Señor y le pidió su ayuda, y que el Señor se arrepintió del mal que les había anunciado? Sin embargo, nosotros estamos a punto de provocar nuestro propio mal».

»¿Acaso Ezequías, rey de Judá, y todo su pueblo mataron a Miqueas? ¿No es verdad que Ezequías temió al Señor y le pidió su ayuda, y que el Señor se arrepintió del mal que les había anunciado? Sin embargo, nosotros estamos por provocar nuestro propio mal».

A-t-il été mis à mort pour cela par Ezéchias, roi de Juda, ou par le peuple de Juda ? Le roi n’a-t-il pas plutôt craint l’Eternel ? Il l’a imploré, si bien que l’Eternel a renoncé au malheur dont il les avait menacés. Et nous, nous nous rendrions responsables d’un si grand crime[d] ?

Ginpatay bala siya ni Hezekia ukon sang bisan sin-o sa Juda? Wala! Sa baylo, nagtahod si Hezekia sa Ginoo kag nagdangop sa iya. Gani wala pagpadayuna sang Ginoo ang kalaglagan nga iya ginsiling kontra sa ila. Karon, kon patyon ninyo si Jeremias, kamo mismo ang magadala sang grabe nga silot sa inyo kaugalingon.”

そのミカを、ヒゼキヤ王と民は殺したでしょうか。いいえ、そんなことはありません。彼らは悪から離れ、主を礼拝し、主のあわれみをひたすら求めたのです。それで主は、予告しておいた恐ろしい刑罰を下すことを思いとどまったのです。もし私たちが、神のことばを伝えたという理由でエレミヤを殺すなら、神がどんな仕返しをするかわかりません。」

“그때 히스기야왕과 유다 백성들이 미가를 죽였습니까? 아닙니다. 오히려 히스기야왕이 여호와를 두려워하여 여호와의 은혜를 구하므로 여호와께서 그들에게 내리겠다고 선언하신 재앙에 대하여 그 뜻을 돌이키지 않으셨습니까? 만일 우리가 예레미야를 죽인다면 우리는 무서운 재앙을 스스로 불러들이는 셈이 될 것입니다.”

En brachten koning Hizkia en zijn mensen hem hierom ter dood? Nee, zij bekeerden zich van hun zonden, aanbaden de Here en smeekten Hem of Hij genadig voor hen wilde zijn. De Here voerde de vreselijke straf die Hij had aangekondigd, niet uit. Als wij Jeremia doden, omdat hij ons de boodschap van de Here doorgeeft, wie weet wat de Here dan met ons zal doen!’

“Acaso Ezequias, rei de Judá, ou alguém do povo de Judá o matou? Ezequias não temeu o Senhor e não buscou o seu favor? E o Senhor não se arrependeu da desgraça que pronunciara contra eles? Estamos a ponto de trazer uma terrível desgraça sobre nós!”

E porventura o rei Ezequias ou o povo o mataram por ele ter dito isso? Não! Antes arrependeram-se da sua maldade e adoraram o Senhor, pedindo-lhe para ter misericórdia deles, e o Senhor suspendeu o terrível castigo que tinha pronunciado contra eles. Se matarmos Jeremias por nos ter dado uma mensagem de Deus, sabe-se lá o que Deus nos poderá fazer!”

L-a omorât oare Ezechia, regele lui Iuda, sau cineva din Iuda? Nu s-a temut Ezechia de Domnul şi n-a căutat el faţa Domnului? Şi nu s-a căit Domnul atunci de răul pe care-l rostise împotriva lor? Iar noi să ne împovărăm sufletele cu un rău aşa de mare?

Men dödade kung Hiskia av Juda och Judas folk honom? Fruktade inte och vädjade inte Hiskia till Herren, så att Herren ångrade sig och inte gjorde det onda han hade uttalat mot dem? Och nu håller vi själva på med att dra något mycket ont över oss!” Profeten Uria

กษัตริย์เฮเซคียาห์แห่งยูดาห์หรือใครอื่นในยูดาห์ได้ฆ่ามีคาห์หรือ? เฮเซคียาห์ไม่ได้ยำเกรงองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าและทูลอ้อนวอนพระองค์หรอกหรือ? แล้วองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าก็อดพระทัยไว้ ไม่นำภัยพิบัติที่ทรงประกาศไว้มาเหนือพวกเขาไม่ใช่หรือ? ส่วนเรากำลังหาเรื่องนำหายนะร้ายแรงมาสู่ตนเอง!”

“但犹大王希西迦和犹大众人并没有处死他。希西迦敬畏耶和华，求祂开恩，耶和华才施怜悯，没有把原本预备的灾祸降给他们。若处死这人，我们会大祸临头。”

犹 大 王 希 西 家 和 犹 大 众 人 岂 是 把 他 治 死 呢 ？ 希 西 家 岂 不 是 敬 畏 耶 和 华 、 恳 求 他 的 恩 麽 ？ 耶 和 华 就 後 悔 ， 不 把 自 己 所 说 的 灾 祸 降 与 他 们 。 若 治 死 这 人 ， 我 们 就 作 了 大 恶 ， 自 害 己 命 。

「但猶大王希西迦和猶大眾人並沒有處死他。希西迦敬畏耶和華，求祂開恩，耶和華才施憐憫，沒有把原本預備的災禍降給他們。若處死這人，我們會大禍臨頭。」
