Jeremiah 25:7

Yet you have not listened to Me,” says the Lord, “so that you have provoked Me to anger with the work (idols) of your hands to your own harm.

Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the Lord; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.

“You refused to listen to any of this, and now I am really angry. These god-making businesses of yours are your doom.” 8-11 The verdict of God-of-the-Angel-Armies on all this: “Because you have refused to listen to what I’ve said, I’m stepping in. I’m sending for the armies out of the north headed by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, my servant in this, and I’m setting them on this land and people and even the surrounding countries. I’m devoting the whole works to total destruction—a horror to top all the horrors in history. And I’ll banish every sound of joy—singing, laughter, marriage festivities, genial workmen, candlelit suppers. The whole landscape will be one vast wasteland. These countries will be in subjection to the king of Babylon for seventy years. 12-14 “Once the seventy years is up, I’ll punish the king of Babylon and the whole nation of Babylon for their sin. Then they’ll be the wasteland. Everything that I said I’d do to that country, I’ll do—everything that’s written in this book, everything Jeremiah preached against all the godless nations. Many nations and great kings will make slaves of the Babylonians, paying them back for everything they’ve done to others. They won’t get by with anything.” God’s Decree. God Puts the Human Race on Trial15-16 This is a Message that the God of Israel gave me: “Take this cup filled with the wine of my wrath that I’m handing to you. Make all the nations where I send you drink it down. They’ll drink it and get drunk, staggering in delirium because of the killing that I’m going to unleash among them.” 17-26 I took the cup from God’s hand and made them drink it, all the nations to which he sent me:Jerusalem and the towns of Judah, along with their kings and leaders, turning them into a vast wasteland, a horror to look at, a cussword—which, in fact, they now are;Pharaoh king of Egypt with his attendants and leaders, plus all his people and the melting pot of foreigners collected there;All the kings of Uz;All the kings of the Philistines from Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and what’s left of Ashdod;Edom, Moab, and the Ammonites;All the kings of Tyre, Sidon, and the coastlands across the sea;Dedan, Tema, Buz, and the nomads on the fringe of the desert;All the kings of Arabia and the various Bedouin sheiks and chieftains wandering about in the desert;All the kings of Zimri, Elam, and the Medes;All the kings from the north countries near and far, one by one;All the kingdoms on planet Earth . . .And the king of Sheshak (that is, Babylon) will be the last to drink.

Yet you have not listened to Me,” declares the Lord, “in order that you might provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm.

“ ‘But you did not listen to me,’ announces the Lord. ‘You have made me very angry with the gods your hands have made. And you have brought harm on yourselves.’

“But you did not listen to me,” declares the Lord, “and you have aroused my anger with what your hands have made, and you have brought harm to yourselves.”

‘But you did not listen to me,’ declares the Lord, ‘and you have aroused my anger with what your hands have made, and you have brought harm to yourselves.’

“But you would not listen to me,” says the Lord. “You made me furious by worshiping idols you made with your own hands, bringing on yourselves all the disasters you now suffer.

غَيْرَ أَنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَسْمَعُوا لِي، بَلْ أَثَرْتُمْ غَيْظِي بِمَا جَنَتْهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ، فَاسْتَجْلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمُ الشَّرَّ».

Dernæst bragte jeg dem et nyt budskab fra Herren: „I har ikke villet adlyde mig og er blevet ved med at provokere mig med jeres afgudsdyrkelse. Derfor kan I takke jer selv for den straf, I får.

Aber ihr habt alle meine Worte in den Wind geschlagen. Das sage ich euch: Mit eurem Götzendienst habt ihr meinen Zorn heraufbeschworen und euch selbst damit geschadet.‹

»Pero no me obedecisteis —afirma el Señor—, sino que me irritasteis con la obra de vuestras manos, para vuestra propia desgracia.

Mais vous ne m’avez pas écouté, déclare l’Eternel, et vous m’avez irrité par les idoles que vous vous êtes fabriquées, pour votre propre malheur.

Pero wala gid kamo magpamati sa Ginoo. Ginpaakig gid ninyo siya paagi sa inyo ginhimo nga mga dios-dios. Gani kamo mismo ang nagdala sang silot sa inyo kaugalingon.

だがおまえたちは、わたしのことばを聞こうとしなかった。かえって、まっしぐらに悪の道に進み、偶像のことでわたしを怒らせた。ありとあらゆる災いを受ける結果を、自ら招いた。」 8-9 そして今、天の軍勢の主である神は、こう宣告します。「おまえたちはわたしのことばを聞かなかったので、わたしの代理人に立てたバビロンのネブカデネザル王の率いる北方軍団を呼び、この国と住民、それに周囲の国々を攻めさせる。こうして、おまえたちを徹底的に滅ぼし、永久にさげすみの代名詞とする。

“그러나 여호와께서는 여러분이 그의 말씀을 듣지 않고 여러분의 손으로 만든 우상으로 그를 노엽게 하여 스스로 화를 불러들였다고 말씀하셨습니다.

Maar u wilt niet luisteren, u bent uw eigen gang gegaan en hebt Mij toornig gemaakt met uw afgodsbeelden. Alle ellende die over u komt, hebt u zichzelf op de hals gehaald.”

“‘Mas vocês não me deram ouvidos e me provocaram à ira com os ídolos que vocês fizeram, trazendo desgraça sobre si mesmos’, declara o Senhor.

No entanto, recusaram-se a ouvir-me; continuaram no mesmo e inflamaram a minha cólera com os vossos ídolos. Foi dessa forma que trouxeram sobre vocês todo o mal que vos tem acontecido.”

Dar voi nu M-aţi ascultat, zice Domnul, ci, prin lucrarea mâinilor voastre, M-aţi provocat la mânie şi v-aţi făcut rău vouă înşivă.

”Men ni har inte velat lyssna på mig, säger Herren. Ni har provocerat min vrede med det ni själva har gjort, till er egen olycka.”

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า “แต่เจ้าก็ไม่ยอมฟังเรา และยั่วให้เราโกรธโดยสิ่งที่มือของเจ้าสร้างขึ้น เจ้ารนหาทุกข์ภัยมาใส่ตัว”

耶和华说：“然而，你们不听我的话，制造神像惹我发怒，自招惩罚。”

然 而 你 们 没 有 听 从 我 ， 竟 以 手 所 做 的 惹 我 发 怒 ， 陷 害 自 己 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

耶和華說：「然而，你們不聽我的話，製造神像惹我發怒，自招懲罰。」
