Jeremiah 25:38

“He has left His lair like the lion;For their land has become a horrorBecause of the fierceness of the oppressorAnd because of the Lord’s fierce anger.”

He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.

Like a lion he will leave his den. The land of those leaders will become a desert.That’s because the sword of the Lord brings great harm. His anger will burn against them.

قَدْ هَجَرَ كَالشِّبْلِ عَرِينَهُ، لأَنَّ الأَرْضَ قَدْ صَارَتْ خَرَاباً مِنْ سَيْفِ الْعَاتِي، مِنْ شِدَّةِ احْتِدَامِ غَضَبِهِ.

Han er kommet frem fra sit skjul som en løve på jagt for at ødelægge dem og deres land med sit frygtelige sværd og sin voldsomme vrede.

Ich habe mich erhoben wie ein Löwe, der aus seinem Versteck hervorkommt, um auf Raubzug zu gehen. Voller Zorn habe ich die Länder mit meinem Schwert verwüstet.«

Han lämnar sin håla likt ett lejon. Deras land ligger öde, härjat av förtryckarens svärd[d], av hans flammande vrede.
