Jeremiah 25:29

For behold, I am beginning to work disaster in the city which is called by My Name, and shall you go unpunished? You will not be exempt from punishment, for I am calling for a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth,” says the Lord of hosts.’

For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.

“‘Prepare for the worst! I’m starting off the catastrophe in the city that I claim as my own, so don’t think you are going to get out of it. No, you’re not getting out of anything. It’s the sword and nothing but the sword against everyone everywhere!’” The God-of-the-Angel-Armies’ Decree. 30-31 “Preach it all, Jeremiah. Preach the entire Message to them. Say: “‘God roars like a lion from high heaven; thunder rolls out from his holy dwelling—Ear-splitting bellows against his people, shouting hurrahs like workers in harvest.The noise reverberates all over the earth; everyone everywhere hears it.God makes his case against the godless nations. He’s about to put the human race on trial.For the wicked the verdict is clear-cut: death by the sword.’” God’s Decree.

For behold, I am beginning to work calamity in this city which is called by My name, and shall you be completely free from punishment? You will not be free from punishment; for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth,” declares the Lord of hosts.’

I am beginning to bring trouble on the city where I have put my Name. You might think you will not be punished. But you will certainly be punished. I am sending war against everyone who lives on earth,” announces the Lord who rules over all.’

لأَنِّي شَرَعْتُ أُعَاقِبُ الْمَدِينَةَ الَّتِي دُعِيَ اسْمِي عَلَيْهَا، فَهَلْ تُفْلِتُونَ أَنْتُمْ مِنَ الْعِقَابِ؟ فَهَا أَنَا قَدْ سَلَّطْتُ السَّيْفَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ سُكَّانِ الأَرْضِ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ.

Jeg begyndte med at straffe min egen, udvalgte by. Skulle jeg så lade jer gå fri? Nej, I kan ikke undslippe straffen. Jeg erklærer krig mod samtlige jordens nationer.’

Se, den stad som är uppkallad efter mitt namn ska jag låta vara den första att drabbas av olyckan. Skulle då ni få gå fria från straffet? Nej, ni ska inte komma undan straffet. Jag ska kalla fram ett svärd mot alla som bor på jorden, säger härskarornas Herre.’

看啊，我已在属我的城中降下灾祸，难道你们可以逃脱惩罚吗？你们必逃不过惩罚，因为我要使战争临到天下万民。’这是万军之耶和华说的。

我 既 从 称 为 我 名 下 的 城 起 首 施 行 灾 祸 ， 你 们 能 尽 免 刑 罚 麽 ？ 你 们 必 不 能 免 ， 因 为 我 要 命 刀 剑 临 到 地 上 一 切 的 居 民 。 这 是 万 军 之 耶 和 华 说 的 。

看啊，我已在屬我的城中降下災禍，難道你們可以逃脫懲罰嗎？你們必逃不過懲罰，因為我要使戰爭臨到天下萬民。』這是萬軍之耶和華說的。
