Jeremiah 16:19

[Then said Jeremiah] “O Lord, my Strength and my Stronghold,And my Refuge in the day of distress and need,The nations will come to YouFrom the ends of the earth and say,‘Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies and illusion,[Worthless] things in which there is no benefit!’

O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

O Lord, my strength and my stronghold,And my refuge in the day of distress,To You the nations will comeFrom the ends of the earth and say,“Our fathers have inherited nothing but falsehood,Futility and [c]things of no profit.”

Lord, you give me strength. You are like a fort to me.When I’m in trouble, I go to you for safety.The nations will come to you from one end of the earth to the other. They will gather together and say,“Our people of long ago didn’t own anything except statues of gods.The statues were worthless. They didn’t do them any good.

Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress,to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say,“Our ancestors possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good.

يَا رَبُّ أَنْتَ عِزِّي وَحِصْنِي وَمَلاذِي فِي يَوْمِ الضِّيقِ، إِلَيْكَ تُقْبِلُ الأُمَمُ مِنْ أَقَاصِي الأَرْضِ قَائِلَةً: «لَمْ يَرِثْ آبَاؤُنَا سِوَى الْبَاطِلِ وَالأَكَاذِيبِ وَمَا لَا جَدْوَى مِنْهُ.

„Ak Herre,” udbrød jeg, „det er dig, der styrker og beskytter mig, du er min tilflugt i nødens stund. Mennesker fra alverdens folkeslag vil komme til dig og erkende: ‚Vores forfædre handlede tåbeligt ved at dyrke livløse afguder, der intet kunne udrette.

主よ。私の力、私の要塞、悩みの日の私の隠れ家よ。世界中の民がみもとに来て、こう言うでしょう。「私たちの先祖はほんとうに愚かでした。少しも価値のない偶像を拝んでいたのです。

耶和华啊，你是我的力量，是我的堡垒，是我患难时的避难所。万国都要从地极来朝见你，说：“我们祖先所拜的神像虚假无用，一无是处。

耶 和 华 啊 ， 你 是 我 的 力 量 ， 是 我 的 保 障 ； 在 苦 难 之 日 是 我 的 避 难 所 。 列 国 人 必 从 地 极 来 到 你 这 里 ， 说 ： 我 们 列 祖 所 承 受 的 ， 不 过 是 虚 假 ， 是 虚 空 无 益 之 物 。
