Isaiah 66:24

“Then they will go forth and lookUpon the dead bodies of the [rebellious] menWho have transgressed against Me;For their worm (maggot) will not die,And their fire will not go out;And they will be an abhorrence to all mankind.”

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

“And then they’ll go out and look at what happened to those who rebelled against me. Corpses!Maggots endlessly eating away on them, an endless supply of fuel for fires.Everyone who sees what’s happened and smells the stench retches.”

ثُمَّ يَمْضُونَ لِمُشَاهَدَةِ جُثَثِ الرِّجَالِ الَّذِينَ تَمَرَّدُوا عَلَيَّ، لأَنَّ دُودَهُمْ لَا يَمُوتُ وَنَارَهُمْ لَا تَخْمَدُ. وَيَكُونُونَ مَثَارَ اشْمِئْزَازِ جَمِيعِ النَّاسِ.

„Og de skal gå ud og se på ligene af dem, som gjorde oprør imod mig. De ligger på lossepladsen, hvor ormene aldrig dør, og ilden aldrig slukkes. Synet af dem vil tjene til skræk og advarsel for alle.”

Sie werden vor die Stadt hinausgehen und die Leichen jener Menschen sehen, die sich zu Lebzeiten gegen mich aufgelehnt haben. Ihr Anblick wird bei allen Abscheu und Entsetzen hervorrufen. Denn für diese Verdammten wird die Qual nie enden, sie brennen in ewigem Feuer.«

Et quand ils sortiront, ils verront les cadavres des hommes qui se sont révoltés contre moi ; et le ver qui rongera ces hommes ne mourra pas, le feu qui les dévorera ne s’éteindra jamais[j], et ils feront horreur à tout être vivant.

彼らは出て行って、わたしに背いた者たちのしかばねを見る。それにわいたうじはいつまでも死なず、しかばねを焼く火も消えず、すべての人が目をそむける。」

Zij zullen uitgaan en de dode lichamen zien van hen die tegen Mij opstonden, want de worm die aan hen knaagt zal nooit sterven, hun vuur zal niet doven en zij zullen een vreselijke aanblik vormen voor de hele mensheid.

Och de ska gå ut och se på de döda kropparna efter dem som gjort uppror mot mig, för deras mask ska aldrig dö, deras eld aldrig släckas. De kommer att bli en avskyvärd syn för alla människor.”
