Isaiah 50:1

[a]The Lord declares this;“Where is the certificate of divorceBy which I have sent your mother away, [O Israel]?Or to which one of My creditors did I sell you [as slaves]?In fact, You were sold for your wickedness [your sin, your injustice, your wrongdoing],And for your transgressions your mother was sent away.

Thus saith the Lord, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.

1-3 God says:“Can you produce your mother’s divorce papers proving I got rid of her?Can you produce a receipt proving I sold you?Of course you can’t. It’s your sins that put you here, your wrongs that got you shipped out.So why didn’t anyone come when I knocked? Why didn’t anyone answer when I called?Do you think I’ve forgotten how to help? Am I so decrepit that I can’t deliver?I’m as powerful as ever, and can reverse what I once did:I can dry up the sea with a word, turn river water into desert sand,And leave the fish stinking in the sun, stranded on dry land . . .Turn all the lights out in the sky and pull down the curtain.” 4-9 The Master, God, has given me a well-taught tongue,So I know how to encourage tired people. He wakes me up in the morning,Wakes me up, opens my ears to listen as one ready to take orders.The Master, God, opened my ears, and I didn’t go back to sleep, didn’t pull the covers back over my head.I followed orders, stood there and took it while they beat me, held steady while they pulled out my beard,Didn’t dodge their insults, faced them as they spit in my face.And the Master, God, stays right there and helps me, so I’m not disgraced.Therefore I set my face like flint, confident that I’ll never regret this.My champion is right here. Let’s take our stand together!Who dares bring suit against me? Let him try!Look! the Master, God, is right here. Who would dare call me guilty?Look! My accusers are a clothes bin of threadbare socks and shirts, fodder for moths! 10-11 Who out there fears God, actually listens to the voice of his servant?For anyone out there who doesn’t know where you’re going, anyone groping in the dark,Here’s what: Trust in God. Lean on your God!But if all you’re after is making trouble, playing with fire, Go ahead and see where it gets you. Set your fires, stir people up, blow on the flames,But don’t expect me to just stand there and watch. I’ll hold your feet to those flames.

Thus says the Lord,“Where is the certificate of divorceBy which I have sent your mother away?Or to whom of My creditors did I sell you?Behold, you were sold for your iniquities,And for your transgressions your mother was sent away.

The Lord says to the people in Jerusalem,“Do you think I divorced your people who lived before you? Is that why I sent them away?If it is, show me the letter of divorce. I did not sell you into slavery to pay someone I owe.You were sold because you sinned against me. Your people were sent away because of their lawless acts.

This is what the Lord says:“Where is your mother’s certificate of divorce with which I sent her away?Or to which of my creditors did I sell you?Because of your sins you were sold; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away.

This is what the Lord says:‘Where is your mother’s certificate of divorce with which I sent her away?Or to which of my creditors did I sell you?Because of your sins you were sold; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away.

This is what the Lord says:“Was your mother sent away because I divorced her? Did I sell you as slaves to my creditors?No, you were sold because of your sins. And your mother, too, was taken because of your sins.

هَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ: أَيْنَ كِتَابُ طَلاقِ أُمِّكُمُ الَّذِي طَلَّقْتُهَا بِهِ؟ لِمَنْ مِنْ دَائِنِيَّ بِعْتُكُمْ؟ إِنَّمَا مِنْ أَجْلِ ذُنُوبِكُمْ قَدْ تَمَّ بَيْعُكُمْ، وَمِنْ جَرَّاءِ خَطَايَاكُمْ قَدْ طُلِّقَتْ أُمُّكُمْ.

Hør, hvad Herren siger: „Var det, fordi jeg manglede penge, at jeg solgte jer som slaver og lod et fremmed folk føre jer bort? Eller er det min skyld, at vi er blevet skilt, mit folk? Nej, det var jeres mange synder, som gjorde, at I blev solgt. Jeres ulydighed var skyld i, at vi måtte skilles.

So spricht der Herr: »Ihr werft mir vor, ich hätte Zion, eure Mutter, verstoßen und mich von ihr getrennt. Wo ist dann die Scheidungsurkunde? Ihr klagt, ich hätte euch als Sklaven verkauft, um meinem Gläubiger die Schulden zu bezahlen. Doch wer ist denn dieser Gläubiger? Nein, all euer Elend habt ihr selbst verursacht. Wegen eurer eigenen Schuld wurdet ihr verkauft! Und weil ihr mich verlassen habt, habe ich eure Mutter verstoßen.

Así dice el Señor:«A vuestra madre, yo la repudié; ¿dónde está el acta de divorcio? ¿A cuál de mis acreedores os he vendido?Por causa de vuestras iniquidades, fuisteis vendidos;por vuestras transgresiones fue despedida vuestra madre.

Así dice el Señor:«A la madre de ustedes, yo la repudié; ¿dónde está el acta de divorcio? ¿A cuál de mis acreedores los he vendido?Por causa de sus iniquidades, fueron ustedes vendidos;por las transgresiones de ustedes fue despedida su madre.

Voici ce que dit l’Eternel :Où est la lettre de divorceen vertu de laquelle |j’aurais répudié votre mère ?Ou auquel de mes créanciers |vous ai-je donc vendus ?Non, vous avez été vendusà cause de vos fautes,et ce sont vos révoltesqui ont été la cause |de la répudiation de votre mère.

Nagsiling ang Ginoo sa iya katawhan, “Ginsikway ko bala ang Jerusalem[a] pareho sang isa ka bana nga nagbulag sa iya asawa? Pamatud-i ninyo![b] Ginpabihag ko bala kamo pareho sang isa ka tawo nga ginpaulipon niya ang iya mga anak sa iya gin-utangan bilang bayad sa iya utang? Wala! Ginbihag kamo tungod sang inyo mga sala; ginsikway ang Jerusalem tungod sang inyo mga paglapas.

主はこう尋ねます。「わたしはあなたがたを債権者に売り飛ばしただろうか。そのため、あなたがたはここにいないのか。わたしがあなたがたの母親と離婚し、追い出したから、彼女の姿が見当たらないのか。いや、あなたがたは自分の罪のために捕虜となって行ったのだ。母親も借金のかたに連れて行かれた。

여호와께서 말씀하신다. “남자가 자기 아내를 내쫓듯이 내가 너희를 쫓아내었느냐? 그렇다면 그 이혼 증서는 어디 있느냐? 너희는 사람이 자기 자녀를 종으로 팔듯이 내가 너희를 팔았다고 생각하느냐? 아니다. 너희는 너희 죄와 허물 때문에 팔려 포로로 잡혀갔다.

De Here vraagt: ‘Heb Ik u soms verkocht aan schuldeisers? Bent u daarom niet hier? Is uw moeder weg omdat Ik van haar scheidde en haar wegstuurde? Nee, u hebt uzelf verkocht door uw zonden. En uw moeder werd genomen als betaling voor uw schulden.

Assim diz o Senhor:“Onde está a certidão de divórcio de sua mãe com a qual eu a mandei embora?A qual de meus credores eu vendi vocês?Por causa de seus pecados vocês foram vendidos;por causa das transgressões de vocês sua mãe foi mandada embora.

Pergunta o Senhor: “Vender-vos-ia eu a credores? Ter-se-á ido embora a vossa mãe, porque me divorciei dela e a despedi? Não! Foram vocês mesmos que se venderam pelos vossos pecados. A vossa mãe foi tomada como paga das vossas maldades.

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul:«Unde este acea carte de despărţire a mamei voastre prin care am izgonit-o?Sau căruia dintre creditorii Mei v-am vândut Eu?Din cauza păcatelor voastre aţi fost vânduţi şi datorită nelegiuirilor voastre a fost izgonită mama voastră.

Так говорит Вечный:– Вы говорите, что Я развёлся с вашей матерью, с Исраилом,но где разводное письмо, с которым Я прочь её отослал?Из-за ваших преступлений была отослана ваша мать!Вы говорите, что Я продал вас, Моих детей, как продают что-то в уплату своего долга, но кому же Я был должен?Из-за грехов своих были вы проданы!

Так говорит Вечный:– Вы говорите, что Я развёлся с вашей матерью, с Исраилом,но где разводное письмо, с которым Я прочь её отослал?Из-за ваших преступлений была отослана ваша мать!Вы говорите, что Я продал вас, Моих детей, как продают что-то в уплату своего долга, но кому же Я был должен?Из-за грехов своих были вы проданы!

Так говорит Господь:– Где разводное письмо вашей матери,с которым Я прочь ее отослал?Или кому из Своих кредиторовпродал Я вас?Из-за грехов своих были вы проданы;из-за ваших преступленийбыла отослана ваша мать.

Så säger Herren: ”Var är skilsmässobrevet, genom vilket jag försköt er mor? Eller till vilken av mina fordringsägare fick jag sälja er? Nej, ni såldes för era synders skull, och er mor försköts för era överträdelser.

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า“หนังสือหย่าของแม่เจ้าที่เราใช้ไล่นางไปอยู่ที่ไหน?หรือเราขายเจ้าไปให้เจ้าหนี้คนไหน?ที่แท้เจ้าถูกขายไปเพราะบาปของเจ้าแม่ของเจ้าถูกไล่ออกไปเพราะการล่วงละเมิดของเจ้า

耶和华说：“我休你们母亲的休书在哪里呢？我把你们卖给了我哪一个债主呢？你们被卖是因为你们的罪恶，你们母亲被休是因为你们的过犯。

耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 我 休 你 们 的 母 亲 ， 休 书 在 哪 里 呢 ？ 我 将 你 们 卖 给 我 哪 一 个 债 主 呢 ？ 你 们 被 卖 ， 是 因 你 们 的 罪 孽 ； 你 们 的 母 亲 被 休 ， 是 因 你 们 的 过 犯 。

耶和華說：「我休你們母親的休書在哪裡呢？我把你們賣給了我哪一個債主呢？你們被賣是因為你們的罪惡，你們母親被休是因為你們的過犯。
