Isaiah 37:27

“Therefore their inhabitants had little power,They were terrorized and shamed;They were like the grass of the field and the green vegetation,Like grass on the housetops and like a field [of grain] scorched before it is grown.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

“Therefore their inhabitants were short of strength,They were dismayed and put to shame;They were as the vegetation of the field and as the green herb,As grass on the housetops [m]is scorched before it is grown up.

Their people do not have any power left. They are troubled and put to shame.They are like plants in the field. They are like new green plants.They are like grass that grows on a roof. It dries up before it is completely grown.

Their people, drained of power, are dismayed and put to shame.They are like plants in the field, like tender green shoots,like grass sprouting on the roof, scorched[d] before it grows up.

خَارَتْ قُوَى أَهْلِهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا مُرْتَاعِينَ خَجِلِينَ، صَارُوا كَعُشْبِ الْحَقْلِ، كَالنَّبَاتِ الأَخْضَرِ وَكَحَشِيشِ السُّطُوحِ الذَّاوِي قَبْلَ نُمُوِّهِ.

Eis a razão por que as nações que conquistaste não tiveram poder para te resistir, antes se fizeram como a erva do campo, murchando debaixo dum calor ardente, como trigo que se queima antes de ficar maduro.

城中的居民软弱无力，惊慌失措，羞愧难当，脆弱如野草和菜蔬，又像还未长大就被晒焦的房顶草。

所 以 其 中 的 居 民 力 量 甚 小 ， 惊 惶 羞 愧 。 他 们 像 野 草 ， 像 青 菜 ， 如 房 顶 上 的 草 ， 又 如 田 间 未 长 成 的 禾 稼 。
