Isaiah 31:1

Woe (judgment is coming) to those who go down to Egypt for help,Who rely on horsesAnd trust in chariots because they are many,And in horsemen because they are very strong,But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek and consult the Lord!

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord!

1-3 Doom to those who go off to Egypt thinking that horses can help them,Impressed by military mathematics, awed by sheer numbers of chariots and riders—And to The Holy of Israel, not even a glance, not so much as a prayer to God.Still, he must be reckoned with, a most wise God who knows what he’s doing.He can call down catastrophe. He’s a God who does what he says.He intervenes in the work of those who do wrong, stands up against interfering evildoers.Egyptians are mortal, not God, and their horses are flesh, not Spirit.When God gives the signal, helpers and helped alike will fall in a heap and share the same dirt grave.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for helpAnd rely on horses,And trust in chariots because they are manyAnd in horsemen because they are very strong,But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord!

How terrible it will be for those who go down to Egypt for help! How terrible for those who depend on horses!They trust in how many chariots they have. They trust in how strong their horsemen are.But they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel. They don’t ask the Lord for his help.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses,who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen,but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord.

What sorrow awaits those who look to Egypt for help, trusting their horses, chariots, and charioteersand depending on the strength of human armies instead of looking to the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

وَيْلٌ لِلْمُنْحَدِرِينَ إِلَى مِصْرَ طَلَباً لِلْعَوْنِ، الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ، الْوَاثِقِينَ بِكَثْرَةِ الْمَرْكَبَاتِ وَبِبَأْسِ الْفُرْسَانِ، مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَلْتَفِتُوا إِلَى قُدُّوسِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، أَوْ يَطْلُبُوا مَشُورَةَ الرَّبِّ.

Ve jer, I, som rejser til Egypten efter hjælp, I, som sætter jeres lid til stridsvogne, heste og en sværm af ryttere i stedet for at søge hjælp hos Israels hellige Gud.

Wehe denen, die nach Ägypten gehen, um Hilfe zu holen! Sie setzen ihre Hoffnung auf Pferde, sie vertrauen auf die unzähligen Streitwagen und die starken Reitertruppen. Den heiligen Gott Israels aber lassen sie außer Acht, den Herrn bitten sie nicht um Hilfe.

¡Ay de los que descienden a Egipto en busca de ayuda, de los que se apoyan en la caballería,de los que confían en la multitud de sus carros de guerra y en la gran fuerza de sus jinetes,pero no tienen en cuenta al Santo de Israel, ni buscan al Señor!

Malheur à ceux |qui s’en vont en Egypte |pour avoir du secours,et qui comptent sur les chevaux,qui mettent leur confiance |dans le nombre des charset dans la grande force |des équipages,mais ne regardent pas |vers le Saint d’Israëlet ne se soucient pas |de l’Eternel !

Kaluluoy kamo nga nagapangayo sang bulig sa Egipto. Nagasalig kamo sa madasig nila nga mga kabayo, sa madamo nila nga mga karwahe, kag sa makusog nila nga mga manugkabayo. Pero wala kamo nagasalig sa Ginoo, ang Balaan nga Dios sang Israel, kag wala kamo nagapangayo sang bulig sa iya.

ああ、エジプトに助けを求めて走り、イスラエルの聖なる神の指示を仰がず、エジプトの強い騎兵と戦車をあてにする者。

도움을 얻으려고 이집트로 내려가는 자들에게 화가 있을 것이다. 그들은 말과 전차와 마병과 같은 이집트의 막강한 군사력은 의지하면서도 이스라엘의 거룩하신 하나님 여호와를 의지하지 않고 그의 도움을 구하지도 않는다.

Wee hen die naar Egypte gaan om hulp, die vertrouwen op paarden, strijdwagens en machtige ruiters in plaats van op de Heilige van Israël en Hem niet om raad vragen.

Ai dos que descem ao Egito em busca de ajuda,que contam com cavalos.Eles confiam na multidão dos seus carros e na grande força dos seus cavaleiros,mas não olham para o Santo de Israel,nem buscam a ajuda que vem do Senhor!

Ai daqueles que fogem para o Egito, procurando ajuda, confiando na sua poderosa cavalaria e nos seus carros de combate, em vez de olharem para o Santo de Israel e de o consultar!

Vai de cei ce se coboară în Egipt pentru ajutor, bazându-se pe cai!Vai de cei ce-şi pun încrederea în mulţimea carelor şi în marea putere a călăreţilorşi nu privesc spre Sfântul lui Israel, nu caută ajutor la Domnul!

Горе тем, кто идёт в Египет за помощью, кто полагается на коней,кто верит во множество колесниц и великую силу всадников,а на святого Бога Исраила не смотрит и не ищет помощи у Вечного!

Ve dem som far till Egypten för att få hjälp! De litar på hästar och förtröstar på de många vagnarna och den stora mängden av ryttare. De vänder sig inte till Israels Helige och söker inte Herren.

วิบัติแก่บรรดาผู้ลงไปขอความช่วยเหลือจากอียิปต์ผู้พึ่งม้าผู้วางใจในกองรถม้าศึกและในกำลังมหาศาลแห่งพลม้าของพวกเขาแทนที่จะมุ่งมององค์บริสุทธิ์แห่งอิสราเอลหรือแสวงหาความช่วยเหลือจากองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า

那些到埃及寻求帮助的人有祸了！他们仰赖战马，倚靠众多的战车和强壮的骑兵，却不仰望以色列的圣者，不寻求耶和华。

祸 哉 ！ 那 些 下 埃 及 求 帮 助 的 ， 是 因 仗 赖 马 匹 ， 倚 靠 甚 多 的 车 辆 ， 并 倚 靠 强 壮 的 马 兵 ， 却 不 仰 望 以 色 列 的 圣 者 ， 也 不 求 问 耶 和 华 。

那些到埃及尋求幫助的人有禍了！他們仰賴戰馬，倚靠眾多的戰車和強壯的騎兵，卻不仰望以色列的聖者，不尋求耶和華。
