Isaiah 30:18

Therefore the Lord waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you,And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.[d]For the Lord is a God of justice;Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them].

And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

But God’s not finished. He’s waiting around to be gracious to you. He’s gathering strength to show mercy to you.God takes the time to do everything right—everything. Those who wait around for him are the lucky ones. 19-22 Oh yes, people of Zion, citizens of Jerusalem, your time of tears is over. Cry for help and you’ll find it’s grace and more grace. The moment he hears, he’ll answer. Just as the Master kept you alive during the hard times, he’ll keep your teacher alive and present among you. Your teacher will be right there, local and on the job, urging you on whenever you wander left or right: “This is the right road. Walk down this road.” You’ll scrap your expensive and fashionable god-images. You’ll throw them in the trash as so much garbage, saying, “Good riddance!” 23-26 God will provide rain for the seeds you sow. The grain that grows will be abundant. Your cattle will range far and wide. Oblivious to war and earthquake, the oxen and donkeys you use for hauling and plowing will be fed well near running brooks that flow freely from mountains and hills. Better yet, on the Day God heals his people of the wounds and bruises from the time of punishment, moonlight will flare into sunlight, and sunlight, like a whole week of sunshine at once, will flood the land. 27-28 Look, God’s on his way, and from a long way off!Smoking with anger, immense as he comes into view,Words steaming from his mouth, searing, indicting words!A torrent of words, a flash flood of words sweeping everyone into the vortex of his words.He’ll shake down the nations in a sieve of destruction, herd them into a dead end. 29-33 But you will sing, sing through an all-night holy feast!Your hearts will burst with song, make music like the sound of flutes on parade,En route to the mountain of God, on the way to the Rock of Israel.God will sound out in grandiose thunder, display his hammering arm,Furiously angry, showering sparks— cloudburst, storm, hail!Oh yes, at God’s thunder Assyria will cower under the clubbing.Every blow God lands on them with his club is in time to the music of drums and pipes,God in all-out, two-fisted battle, fighting against them.Topheth’s fierce fires are well prepared, ready for the Assyrian king.The Topheth furnace is deep and wide, well stoked with hot-burning wood.God’s breath, like a river of burning pitch, starts the fire.

But the Lord wants to have mercy on you. So he will rise up to give you his tender love.The Lord is a God who is always fair. Blessed are all those who wait for him to act!

So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion.For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.

وَمَعَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّ الرَّبَّ يَنْتَطِرُ حَتَّى يُبْدِيَ نَحْوَكُمْ عَطْفَهُ، لِهَذَا يَقُومُ لِيَرْحَمَكُمْ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ هُوَ إِلَهُ عَدْلٍ، فَطُوبَى لِجَمِيعِ الَّذِينَ يَنْتَظِرُونَهُ.

Men Herren længes efter at være nådig og barmhjertig imod jer. Han er en god Gud, og han velsigner dem, der søger hjælp hos ham.

Doch sehnt sich der Herr danach, euch gnädig zu sein. Bald wird er zu euch kommen und sich wieder über euch erbarmen, denn er ist ein gerechter Gott. Wie glücklich können sich alle schätzen, die auf seine Hilfe warten!

Pero nagahulat ang Ginoo nga magpalapit kamo sa iya agod kaluoyan niya kamo. Handa siya nga ipakita ang iya pagkabalaka sa inyo. Kay ang Ginoo matarong nga Dios, kag bulahan ang tanan nga nagasalig sa iya.

しかし主は、あなたがたを愛し、いつの日か、みもとに帰って来るのを待っています。約束どおり、あなたがたをむりやりつかまえてでも祝福しようと待ちかまえています。主は約束は必ず守るお方なので、主の助けを待ち望む人は幸いです。

Desondanks wacht de Here nog steeds tot u bij Hem komt, zodat Hij u zijn liefde kan tonen, Hij zal u veroveren om u te zegenen, precies zoals Hij heeft gezegd. Gezegend zijn allen die op Hem wachten tot Hij hen te hulp komt.

Contudo, o Senhor espera o momento de ser bondoso com vocês;ele ainda se levantará para mostrar-lhes compaixão.Pois o Senhor é Deus de justiça.Como são felizes todosos que nele esperam!

Mesmo assim, o Senhor espera que se voltem para ele, para que possa mostrar-vos o seu amor. Porque o Senhor é um Deus de justiça e é fiel às suas promessas. Felizes serão todos aqueles que esperam pela ajuda dele!

Totuşi Domnul aşteaptă să vă arate îndurare. Totuşi El Se ridică să vă arate milă.Căci Domnul este un Dumnezeu al dreptăţii! Binecuvântaţi sunt toţi cei ce nădăjduiesc în El!

Men ändå väntar Herren på att få visa er nåd, han reser sig för att förbarma sig över er. För Herren är en rättvis Gud. Lyckliga är alla de som väntar på honom!

ถึงกระนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้ายังทรงปรารถนาจะเมตตาเจ้าพระองค์ทรงลุกขึ้นเพื่อแสดงความเมตตาสงสารต่อเจ้าเพราะพระยาห์เวห์ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าแห่งความยุติธรรมพระพรมีแก่ทุกคนที่รอคอยพระองค์!

因此，耶和华正在等候，准备施恩给你们，祂必怜悯你们。因为耶和华是公义的上帝，等候祂的人有福了！

耶 和 华 必 然 等 候 ， 要 施 恩 给 你 们 ； 必 然 兴 起 ， 好 怜 悯 你 们 。 因 为 耶 和 华 是 公 平 的 神 ； 凡 等 候 他 的 都 是 有 福 的 ！

因此，耶和華正在等候，準備施恩給你們，祂必憐憫你們。因為耶和華是公義的上帝，等候祂的人有福了！
