Isaiah 3:1

Listen carefully, the Lord God of hosts is removing from Jerusalem and from JudahBoth supply and support, the whole supply of breadAnd the whole supply of water;

For, behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.

1-7 The Master, God-of-the-Angel-Armies, is emptying Jerusalem and JudahOf all the basic necessities, plain bread and water to begin with.He’s withdrawing police and protection, judges and courts, pastors and teachers, captains and generals, doctors and nurses, and, yes, even the repairmen and jacks-of-all-trades.He says, “I’ll put little kids in charge of the city. Schoolboys and schoolgirls will order everyone around.People will be at each other’s throats, stabbing one another in the back:Neighbor against neighbor, young against old, the no-account against the well-respected.One brother will grab another and say, ‘You look like you’ve got a head on your shoulders.Do something! Get us out of this mess.’And he’ll say, ‘Me? Not me! I don’t have a clue. Don’t put me in charge of anything.’ 8-9 “Jerusalem’s on its last legs. Judah is soon down for the count.Everything people say and do is at cross-purposes with God, a slap in my face.Brazen in their depravity, they flaunt their sins like degenerate Sodom.Doom to their eternal souls! They’ve made their bed; now they’ll sleep in it.

For behold, the Lord [a]God of hosts is going to remove from Jerusalem and JudahBoth [b]supply and support, the whole [c]supply of breadAnd the whole [d]supply of water;

Here is what the Lord who rules over all is about to do.The Lord will take away from Jerusalem and Judah supplies and help alike.He will take away all the supplies of food and water.

See now, the Lord, the Lord Almighty,is about to take from Jerusalem and Judah both supply and support:all supplies of food and all supplies of water,

The Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, will take away from Jerusalem and Judaheverything they depend on: every bit of bread and every drop of water,

هَا هُوَ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ مُزْمِعٌ أَنْ يَقْطَعَ عَنْ أُورُشَلِيمَ وَيَهُوذَا الطَّعَامَ وَالْمَاءَ.

Herren, den Almægtige, vil afskære Jerusalem og Juda fra al hjælp og alle forsyninger af mad og vand.

Ihr werdet sehen: Der Herr, der allmächtige Gott, nimmt den Bewohnern von Juda und Jerusalem alles weg, worauf sie sich heute verlassen; jeden Vorrat an Brot und Wasser,

Pamati! Kuhaon sang Ginoo, ang Makagagahom nga Ginoo, ang tanan nga ginasaligan sang mga tawo sa Jerusalem kag Juda: ang ila kalan-on kag tubig,

天の軍勢の主は、エルサレムとユダ王国の食糧と水の補給路を断ち、

이제 전능하신 여호와께서 예루살렘과 유다가 의존하고 있는 양식과 물의 공 급을 끊어 버리고

Vejam! O Soberano, o Senhor dos Exércitos,logo irá retirar de Jerusalém e de Judá todo o seu sustento,tanto o suprimento de comida como o suprimento de água,
