Isaiah 28:1

Woe (judgment is coming) to [Samaria] the splendid crown of the drunkards of [a]Ephraim,And to the fading flower of its glorious beauty,Which is at the head of the rich valleyOf those who are overcome with wine!

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

1-4 Doom to the pretentious drunks of Ephraim, shabby and washed out and seedy—Tipsy, sloppy-fat, beer-bellied parodies of a proud and handsome past.Watch closely: God has someone picked out, someone tough and strong to flatten them.Like a hailstorm, like a hurricane, like a flash flood, one-handed he’ll throw them to the ground.Samaria, the party hat on Israel’s head, will be knocked off with one blow.It will disappear quicker than a piece of meat tossed to a dog.

How terrible it will be for the city of Samaria! It sits on a hill like a wreath of flowers.The leaders of Ephraim are drunk. They take pride in their city.It sits above a valley that has rich soil. How terrible it will be for the glorious beauty of that fading flower!

Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim’s drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty,set on the head of a fertile valley— to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine!

What sorrow awaits the proud city of Samaria— the glorious crown of the drunks of Israel.[a]It sits at the head of a fertile valley, but its glorious beauty will fade like a flower.It is the pride of a people brought down by wine.

وَيْلٌ (لِمَدِينَةِ السَّامِرَةِ) تَاجِ فَخْرِ سُكَارَى أَفْرَايِمَ، وَلِزَهْرَةِ جَمَالِهَا الْمَجِيدَةِ الذَّابِلَةِ الَّتِي تُتَوِّجُ رَأْسَ وَادِي خِصْبِ الْمَخْمُورِينَ.

Ve dig, Samaria, du stolte by, der sidder som en krone på toppen af højen i den frugtbare dal, hvor Nordrigets ledere ligger slået omkuld af vin. Den smukke krone bliver til en krans af visne blomster.

Wehe euch, ihr Leute von Ephraim! Trinker seid ihr, ganz und gar dem Wein ergeben. Eurer stolzen Hauptstadt Samaria wird es schlecht ergehen! Noch liegt sie wie eine prächtige Krone auf dem Hügel, hoch über dem fruchtbaren Tal. Sie schmückt ihn wie ein bunter Blumenkranz, doch die Blüten welken schon.

Malheur au diadème[a] |qui fait l’orgueil |des buveurs d’Ephraïm,à cette fleur fanée, |qui orne sa parure,et qui est située sur les sommets |qui dominent la vallée plantureuse,oui, malheur à cette cité |des hommes qui s’enivrent.

Kaluluoy ang Samaria, nga pareho sa korokorona nga bulak, nga dungog sang palahubog nga mga pangulo sang Israel.[a] Ini nga siyudad nahamtang sa mapatubason nga patag, pero ang iya katahom madula pareho sa bulak nga nagakalaya.

よく肥えた谷に囲まれたサマリヤの町は、恐ろしい目に会います。酔いどれイスラエルの誇りであり、喜びでもあるサマリヤよ。その色あせていく美しさと、路上で酔いつぶれている者にとっての最大の栄誉は、見る影もなくなります。

비옥한 골짜기로 둘러싸인 교만한 사마리아성이여, 네가 망하게 되었 구나! 네 백성이 술에 취해 비틀거리고 있으니 네 영광도 꽃처럼 시들어 가고 있다. 에브라임과 예루살렘에 내릴 재앙

Wee de stad Samaria, omringd door haar vruchtbare vallei. Samaria, de trots en vreugde van de dronkaards van Israël! Wee haar schoonheid, de gekroonde glorie van dronkaards, het is een bloem die verwelkt!

Ai daquela coroa situada nos altos de um vale fértil,orgulho dos bêbados de Efraim!Ai de sua magnífica beleza, que agora é como uma flor murcha.Ai dos que são dominados pelo vinho!

Ai da Samaria, rodeada pelo seu rico vale, coroa orgulhosa e o deleite dos bêbedos de Efraim! Ai da sua beleza passageira, o glorioso ornamento duma nação de gente caída nas valetas das ruas, vencida pelo vinho!

Vai de acea cunună, mândria beţivilor din Efraim, şi de floarea ofilită, frumuseţea ei glorioasă,aşezată pe culmea văii mănoase a celor doborâţi de vin!

Горе Самарии, гордости пьяниц Ефраима[a], возвышающейся над плодородной долиной,этому прекрасному венку, которым пропойцы гордятся, чей цвет увядает!

Ve över den stolta kronan av Efraims drinkare, den bleknande blomstringen av dess härliga prydnad på bergskrönet ovanför de berusades grönskande dal!

วิบัติแก่มงกุฎดอกไม้แห่งเกียรติยศของเหล่าคนขี้เมาแห่งเอฟราอิมวิบัติแก่ดอกไม้อันร่วงโรย แก่ความงามอันเชิดหน้าชูตาของเอฟราอิมซึ่งประดับอยู่บนหัวของหุบเขาอันอุดมสมบูรณ์วิบัติแก่นครแห่งนั้น เกียรติยศของพวกเขาตกต่ำลงเพราะเหล้าองุ่น!

以法莲酒徒引以为荣的华冠有祸了！它坐落在醉酒者肥美的山谷顶上，它的荣美如将残之花。

祸 哉 ！ 以 法 莲 的 酒 徒 ， 住 在 肥 美 谷 的 山 上 ， 他 们 心 里 高 傲 ， 以 所 夸 的 为 冠 冕 ， 犹 如 将 残 之 花 。
