Isaiah 27:1

In that day the Lord will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpentWith His fierce and great and mighty sword [rescuing Israel from her enemy],Even Leviathan the twisted serpent;And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.

In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

At that time God will unsheathe his sword, his merciless, massive, mighty sword.He’ll punish the serpent Leviathan as it flees, the serpent Leviathan thrashing in flight.He’ll kill that old dragon that lives in the sea. 2-5 “At that same time, a fine vineyard will appear. There’s something to sing about!I, God, tend it. I keep it well-watered.I keep careful watch over it so that no one can damage it.I’m not angry. I care. Even if it gives me thistles and thornbushes,I’ll just pull them out and burn them up.Let that vine cling to me for safety, let it find a good and whole life with me, let it hold on for a good and whole life.”

In that day the Lord will punish [a]Leviathan the fleeing serpent,With His fierce and great and mighty sword,Even [b]Leviathan the twisted serpent;And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.

At that timethe Lord will punish Leviathan with his sword. His great, powerful and deadly sword will punishthe serpent that glides through the sea. He will kill that twisting sea monster.

In that day,the Lord will punish with his sword— his fierce, great and powerful sword—Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent;he will slay the monster of the sea.

In that day the Lord will take his terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan,[a] the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.

فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ يُعَاقِبُ الرَّبُّ بِسَيْفِهِ الْقَاسِي الْعَظِيمِ الْمَتِينِ لَوِيَاثَانَ الْحَيَّةَ الْهَارِبَةَ الْمُتَلَوِّيَةَ، وَيَقْتُلُ التِّنِّينَ الَّذِي فِي الْبَحْرِ.

Til den tid vil Herren gribe sit skarpe sværd og straffe Livjatan, den lynhurtige slange, der vrider og snor sig, ja, han vil tilintetgøre dragen i havet.

到那日，耶和华必用祂无坚不摧的利剑惩罚巨龙——那飞快、曲行的蛇。祂必杀死那海中的怪物。
