Isaiah 17:14

At evening time, now look, sudden terror!Before [d]morning the Assyrians are no more.This is the portion (fate) of those who plunder us,And the lot of those who pillage us.

And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

At bedtime, terror fills the air. By morning it’s gone—not a sign of it anywhere!This is what happens to those who would ruin us, this is the fate of those out to get us.

At evening time, behold, there is terror!Before morning they are no more.[o]Such will be the portion of those who plunder usAnd the lot of those who pillage us.

In the evening, the nations terrify us. But before morning comes, they are gone.That’s what happens to those who steal our goods. That’s what happens to those who take what belongs to us.

فِي الْمَسَاءِ يَطْغَى عَلَيْهِمْ رُعْبٌ، وَفِي الصَّبَاحِ يَتَلاشَوْنَ. هَذَا هُوَ نَصِيبُ نَاهِبِينَا وَحَظُّ سَالِبِينَا.

Aftenen er mættet af frygt, men før morgenen kommer, er fjenden borte. Sådan går det dem, der vil plyndre og gå på rov hos os.

Am Abend sind wir alle noch vor Schreck wie gelähmt, doch bevor der Morgen graut, gibt es die Feinde nicht mehr. So geht es allen, die uns überfallen und ausplündern wollen! Sie werden keinen Erfolg haben!

Sa gab-i nagadala sila sang kahadlok, pero pagkaaga nagakalaglag sila. Amo ina ang matabo sa mga nagasalakay sa aton kag nagapanguha sang aton pagkabutang.

夕べには、恐怖に包まれていても、夜明けになれば、敵は山のような死体を残して姿を消します。これが、神の民を滅ぼし略奪する者たちへの正当な報いです。

그들이 저녁에는 가공할 만한 존재였으나 아침이 되기도 전에 사라져 버렸으니 이것이 하나님의 백성을 약탈하는 자들의 운명이다.

ʼs Avonds voelt Israël zich nog bedreigd, maar de volgende morgen zijn haar vijanden dood. Dat is het verdiende loon van hen die het volk van God beroven.

På kvällen väntar skräck, i gryningen är de borta. Detta är våra plundrares del och våra rövares lott.
