Isaiah 14:1

For the Lord will have compassion on Jacob (the captives in Babylon) and will again choose Israel, and will settle them in their own land. Foreigners (Gentiles) will join them [as proselytes] and will attach themselves to the house of Jacob (Israel).

For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

1-2 But not so with Jacob. God will have compassion on Jacob. Once again he’ll choose Israel. He’ll establish them in their own country. Outsiders will be attracted and throw their lot in with Jacob. The nations among whom they lived will actually escort them back home, and then Israel will pay them back by making slaves of them, men and women alike, possessing them as slaves in God’s country, capturing those who had captured them, ruling over those who had abused them.

When the Lord will have compassion on Jacob and again choose Israel, and settle them in their own land, then strangers will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob.

The Lord will show tender love toward Jacob’s people. Once again he will choose Israel. He’ll give them homes in their own land.Outsiders will join them. They and the people of Jacob will become one people.

But the Lord will have mercy on the descendants of Jacob. He will choose Israel as his special people once again. He will bring them back to settle once again in their own land. And people from many different nations will come and join them there and unite with the people of Israel.[a]

وَلَكِنَّ الرَّبَّ يُنْعِمُ بِرَحْمَتِهِ عَلَى ذُرِّيَّةِ يَعْقُوبَ، وَيَصْطَفِي شَعْبَ إِسْرَائِيلَ ثَانِيَةً وَيُحِلُّهُمْ فِي أَرْضِهِمْ، فَيَنْضَمُّ الْغُرَبَاءُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَيَلْحَقُونَ بِبَيْتِ يَعْقُوبَ.

Herren vil forbarme sig over Israels folk. De vil igen blive hans udvalgte folk. Han lader dem bosætte sig i deres eget land, og folk fra andre nationer vil slutte sig til dem og blive en del af Israels folk.

Der Herr wird sich über die Nachkommen von Jakob erbarmen; er nimmt die Israeliten wieder als sein Volk an und bringt sie in ihre Heimat zurück. Auch aus anderen Nationen werden Menschen kommen und sich ihnen anschließen.

しかし主は、イスラエル人にはあわれみをかけます。彼らが特別の民であることに変わりはないからです。主は彼らを連れ戻し、再びイスラエルに住まわせます。多くの国が彼らと手を結び、忠実な同盟軍となります。

여호와께서 이스라엘을 불쌍히 여기시고 다시 그들을 자기 백성으로 택하여 본래의 그들 땅에 살게 하실 것이며 외국 사람들도 그들과 함께 그 곳에 가서 살 것이다.

Maar de Here zal Zich over de Israëlieten ontfermen, zij zijn nog steeds het volk dat Hij heeft uitgekozen. Hij zal hen terugbrengen en zij zullen zich weer in het land Israël vestigen. Mensen van vele nationaliteiten zullen zich bij hen voegen en hun bondgenoten zijn.

Men Herren ska förbarma sig över Jakob, välja ut Israel på nytt och låta dem bosätta sig i sitt eget land. Främlingar ska sluta sig till dem och förena sig med Jakobs släkt.

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงเอ็นดูสงสารยาโคบพระองค์จะทรงเลือกสรรอิสราเอลอีกครั้งหนึ่งและจะนำพวกเขากลับมาตั้งถิ่นฐานในแผ่นดินของพวกเขาชนต่างชาติจะมาสมทบและเข้าร่วมกับวงศ์วานของยาโคบ
