Hosea 7:16

They turn, but they do not turn upward to the Most High.They are like a poorly crafted bow [that misses the mark];Their princes shall fall by the swordBecause of the insolence of their tongue.This will be cause for their mockery and disdain in the land of Egypt.

They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

I am the Most High God. But they do not turn to me. They are like a bow that does not shoot straight.Their leaders will be killed by swords. They will die because they have spoken too proudly.The people of Egypt will make fun of them.”

They do not turn to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow.Their leaders will fall by the sword because of their insolent words.For this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.

They look everywhere except to the Most High. They are as useless as a crooked bow.Their leaders will be killed by their enemies because of their insolence toward me.Then the people of Egypt will laugh at them.

لَا يَرْجِعُونَ إِلَيَّ، فَهُمْ كَقَوْسٍ مُلْتَوِيَةٍ مُخْطِئَةٍ. يَهْلِكُ رُؤَسَاؤُهُمْ بِالسَّيْفِ لِفَرْطِ سَلاطَةِ أَلْسِنَتِهِمْ، وَيُصْبِحُ مَصِيرُهُمْ مَثَارَ سُخْرِيَةِ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ.

De søger hjælp alle vegne, bare ikke hos mig.[a] De er som en slap bue, der ikke kan bruges til noget. Landets ledere vil falde for sværdet på grund af deres oprør mod mig, og egypterne vil godte sig over deres skæbne.”

Sie wenden sich an alle möglichen Helfer, nur nicht an mich! Sie sind wie ein schlaffer Bogen, mit dem man nicht schießen kann. Ihre führenden Männer werden im Krieg fallen, weil sie Hass und Lüge verbreiten. In ganz Ägypten wird man über sie spotten!«

Ils ne reviennent pas vers le Très-Haut[f],ils sont tous devenus |comme un arc qui serait faussé ;aussi leurs chefs |tomberont par l’épéeà cause de leurs propos insolents.Et l’on rira d’eux en Egypte.

Nagadangop sila sa butang nga wala sing pulos.[j] Pareho sila sa guba nga pana nga indi mapuslan. Mapatay sa inaway ang ila mga pangulo tungod kay wala sila sing respeto[k] kon maghambal. Tungod sini yagutaon sila sang mga taga-Egipto.

彼らはあたり一帯を見回すが、いと高き神がいる天には目を向けない。まるで、いつも的をはずす、曲がった弓のようだ。指導者たちは、わたしへの傲慢な態度のために敵の剣に倒れる。こうして全エジプトが彼らをあざ笑うようになる。

그들이 돌아와도 가장 높은 신인 나를 바라보지 않으니 그들은 굽은 화살과 같다. 그들의 지도자들은 오만한 말 때문에 칼날에 쓰러질 것이다. 그러므로 그들은 이집트 땅에서 조소를 당할 것이다.”

Zij kijken overal om zich heen, behalve naar omhoog, naar Mij. Zij zijn als een kromme boog die altijd zijn doel mist. Hun leiders zullen sneuvelen door het zwaard van de vijand vanwege hun onbeschaamde gedrag tegen Mij. En heel Egypte zal hen hierom uitlachen.’

Eles não se voltam para o Altíssimo; são como um arco defeituoso.Seus líderes serão mortos à espada por causa de suas palavras insolentes.E por isso serão ridicularizados no Egito.

Olham para todo o lado exceto para o céu, para o Deus altíssimo. São como um arco defeituoso que lança flechas errando sempre o alvo. Os seus chefes perecerão pela espada do inimigo, por causa da sua insolência para comigo, e todo o Egito se rirá deles.

Nu se întorc la Cel Preaînalt[e]; sunt ca un arc defectuos.Căpeteniile lor vor cădea răpuse de sabie din pricina vorbirii lor îndrăzneţe;aceasta îi va face de râs în ţara Egiptului.“

De vänder sig, men inte uppåt. De är som en obrukbar pilbåge. Deras furstar ska falla för svärd för sina fräcka tungors skull, och hela Egypten ska håna dem.[d]

พวกเขาไม่ได้หันมาหาองค์ผู้สูงสุดพวกเขาเหมือนคันธนูที่บิดเบี้ยวผู้นำของพวกเขาจะล้มลงด้วยดาบเพราะถ้อยคำอวดดีด้วยเหตุนี้พวกเขาจะถูกเย้ยหยันในดินแดนอียิปต์

他们回转，却不肯转向至高者，他们就像无用的断弓。他们的首领要因出言狂妄而丧身刀下，成为埃及人的笑柄。

他 们 归 向 ， 却 不 归 向 至 上 者 ； 他 们 如 同 翻 背 的 弓 。 他 们 的 首 领 必 因 舌 头 的 狂 傲 倒 在 刀 下 ； 这 在 埃 及 地 必 作 人 的 讥 笑 。

他們回轉，卻不肯轉向至高者，他們就像無用的斷弓。他們的首領要因出言狂妄而喪身刀下，成為埃及人的笑柄。
