Hebrews 4:2

For indeed we have had the good news [of salvation] preached to us, just as the Israelites also [when the good news of the promised land came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not united with faith [in God] by those who heard.

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Porque a nosotros se nos han anunciado las buenas nuevas de la salvación, de la misma manera que se les anunció a los contemporáneos de Moisés; aunque a ellos no les resultó de ningún provecho aquel mensaje, porque no lo creyeron. Les faltaba la fe,

The good news was announced to our people of long ago. It has also been preached to us. The message they heard didn’t have any value for them. That’s because they didn’t share the faith of those who obeyed.

ذَلِكَ أَنَّ الْبِشَارَةَ بِالْوَعْدِ قَدْ وَصَلَتْ إِلَيْنَا، نَحْنُ أَيْضاً، كَمَا كَانَتْ قَدْ وَصَلَتْ إِلَى ذَلِكَ الشَّعْبِ. وَلَكِنَّ الْبِشَارَةَ لَمْ تَنْفَعْ سَامِعِيهَا شَيْئاً، لأَنَّهُمْ قَابَلُوهَا بِالرَّفْضِ فَلَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِها.

Kay sama kanila nakadungog usab kita sa Maayong Balita. Apan wala nila mapusli ang ilang nadunggan tungod kay wala sila motuo.

Izraelcům bylo stejně jako nám zvěstováno radostné poselství, ale nebylo jim to nic platné, protože mu nevěřili.

Car nous aussi, nous avons entendu une Bonne Nouvelle, l’Evangile, tout comme eux. Mais le message qu’ils ont entendu ne leur a servi à rien, car ils ne se sont pas associés par leur foi à ceux qui l’ont reçu[c].

Vi har fått høre det samme glade budskapet som dem som gikk sammen med Moses, om at vi skal få hvile ut ved reisens slutt hos Gud. De som hørte budskapet den gangen, hadde ingen nytte av det, etter som de ikke trodde på det Gud sa.

Veď aj nám sa hlása tá radostná zvesť -- posolstvo, že nás Boh chce zachrániť -- ako tým na púšti. Zvesť, ktorú počuli, im však neprospela, lebo ju vierou neprijali.

因为我们和他们一样听到了福音，只是他们听了道后没有凭信心领受，结果没有得到益处。
