Genesis 50:25

Then Joseph made the sons of Israel (Jacob) swear [an oath], saying, “God will surely visit you and take care of you [returning you to Canaan], and [when that happens] you shall carry my bones up from here.”

وَاسْتَحْلَفَ يُوسُفُ أَبْنَاءَ إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِلاً: «إِنَّ اللهَ سَيَفْتَقِدُكُمْ فَانْقُلُوا عِظَامِي مِنْ هُنَا».

Så fik Josef sine brødre til at sværge på, at de ville opfylde hans sidste ønske: „Når Gud leder jer tilbage til Kana’an, så skal I tage mit lig med.”

Schwört mir, dass ihr meine Gebeine mitnehmt, wenn Gott euch nach Kanaan bringt!« Die Brüder schworen es.

Josef fick israeliterna att lova med en ed och sa: ”Gud kommer att ta sig an er och då ska ni föra mina kvarlevor härifrån.”

แล้วโยเซฟจึงขอให้ลูกหลานอิสราเอลกล่าวปฏิญาณ และโยเซฟกล่าวอีกว่า “พระเจ้าจะเสด็จมาช่วยพวกท่านอย่างแน่นอน แล้วพวกท่านต้องนำกระดูกของเราออกจากดินแดนนี้”
