Genesis 44:16

So Judah said, “What can we say to my lord? What can we reply? Or how can we clear ourselves, since God has exposed the sin and guilt of your servants? Behold, we are my lord’s slaves, the rest of us as well as he with whom the cup is found.”

And Judah said, What shall we say unto my lord? what shall we speak? or how shall we clear ourselves? God hath found out the iniquity of thy servants: behold, we are my lord's servants, both we, and he also with whom the cup is found.

Judah as spokesman for the brothers said, “What can we say, master? What is there to say? How can we prove our innocence? God is behind this, exposing how bad we are. We stand guilty before you and ready to be your slaves—we’re all in this together, the rest of us as guilty as the one with the chalice.”

So Judah said, “What can we say to my lord? What can we speak? And how can we justify ourselves? God has found out the iniquity of your servants; behold, we are my lord’s slaves, both we and the one in whose [c]possession the cup has been found.”

“What can we say to you?” Judah replied. “What can we say? How can we prove we haven’t done anything wrong? God has shown you that we are guilty. We are now your slaves. All of us are, including the one found to have the cup.”

“What can we say to my lord?” Judah replied. “What can we say? How can we prove our innocence? God has uncovered your servants’ guilt. We are now my lord’s slaves—we ourselves and the one who was found to have the cup.”

‘What can we say to my lord?’ Judah replied. ‘What can we say? How can we prove our innocence? God has uncovered your servants’ guilt. We are now my lord’s slaves – we ourselves and the one who was found to have the cup.’

Judah answered, “Oh, my lord, what can we say to you? How can we explain this? How can we prove our innocence? God is punishing us for our sins. My lord, we have all returned to be your slaves—all of us, not just our brother who had your cup in his sack.”

فَقَالَ يَهُوذَا: «مَاذَا نَقُولُ لِسَيِّدِي، وَبِمَاذَا نُخَاطِبُهُ، وَكَيْفَ نُبْرِئُ أَنْفُسَنَا؟ إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ فَضَحَ إِثْمَ عَبِيدِكَ. فَنَحْنُ وَمَنْ عُثِرَ مَعَهُ عَلَى الْكَأْسِ عَبِيدٌ لِسَيِّدِي».

Da sagde Juda: „Oh, herre, hvad skal vi sige til vores forsvar? Hvordan kan vi bevise, at vi er uskyldige? Gud har bragt vores skyld for dagens lys. Vi er nu Deres slaver—både vi og vores bror, som bægeret blev fundet hos.”

Juda antwortete: »Was sollen wir jetzt noch zu unserer Verteidigung vorbringen? Es gibt nichts, womit wir uns rechtfertigen könnten. Gott hat eine Schuld von uns bestraft. Darum sind wir alle deine Sklaven – nicht nur der, bei dem dein Becher gefunden wurde!«

―¡No sabemos qué decir a mi señor! —contestó Judá—. ¡No hay excusa que valga! ¿Cómo podemos demostrar nuestra inocencia? Dios ha puesto al descubierto la maldad de tus siervos. Aquí nos tiene mi señor: somos tus esclavos, nosotros y el que tenía la copa.

—¡No sabemos qué decirle, mi señor! —contestó Judá—. ¡No hay excusa que valga! ¿Cómo podemos demostrar nuestra inocencia? Dios ha puesto al descubierto la maldad de sus siervos. Aquí nos tiene usted: somos sus esclavos, nosotros y el que tenía la copa.

Juda dit : Que répondrons-nous à mon seigneur ? Que dirions-nous ? Comment nous justifier ? Dieu a mis à découvert la faute de tes serviteurs. Nous voici donc les esclaves de mon seigneur, nous, ainsi que celui qui avait la coupe dans son sac.

Nagsiling si Juda, “Sir, wala na kami sang may irason pa sa imo, kag indi kami makasiling nga wala kami sang sala. Ang Dios amo ang nagpahayag sang amon sala. Karon, tanan kami imo na nga ulipon—kami kag ang isa nga nakit-an sa iya ang kupa.”

ユダが恐る恐る答えました。「ああ、どう申し上げたらよろしいのでしょう。申し開きもできません。私たちは無実です。ですが、どうすればそれをわかっていただけますでしょう。きっと神様が私たちを罰しておられるのです。いくらなんでも、弟一人を置いて行くわけにはいきませんので、兄弟みんなで戻ってまいりました。どうぞ私たちを奴隷にしてください。」

이때 유다가 대답하였다. “우리가 [a]총리께 무슨 말을 할 수 있겠습니까? 우리가 무슨 변명을 하며 어떻게 우리의 무죄를 입증할 수 있겠습니까? 하나님이 우리 죄를 드러내셨으니 이제 우리와 이 잔이 발견된 자가 다 당신의 종이 되겠습니다.”

Juda antwoordde: ‘Wat kunnen wij zeggen, meneer? Hoe kunnen wij onze onschuld bewijzen? God straft ons voor onze zonden. Wij zijn teruggekomen om uw slaven te worden, wij en hij, in wiens zak de beker is gevonden.’

Respondeu Judá: “O que diremos a meu senhor? Que podemos falar? Como podemos provar nossa inocência? Deus trouxe à luz a culpa dos teus servos. Agora somos escravos do meu senhor, como também aquele que foi encontrado com a taça”.

Judá respondeu: “Nós nada temos a alegar em nossa defesa! Que desculpa haveríamos de dar? Não temos forma de provar a nossa inocência. Deus está a castigar-nos pelos nossos pecados. Por isso, senhor, regressámos e aqui estamos para sermos teus escravos, tanto aquele em cujo saco foi encontrada a taça como nós próprios.”

Iuda i-a răspuns:– Ce putem să-i spunem stăpânului nostru? Ce putem spune? Cum să ne dezvinovăţim? Dumnezeu a descoperit vina slujitorilor tăi; suntem sclavii stăpânului nostru, noi şi cel la care a fost găsită cupa.

– Что мы можем сказать моему господину? – ответил Иуда. – Как нам возразить? Как доказать нашу невиновность? Всевышний открыл нашу вину. Теперь мы рабы моего господина – и мы, и тот, у кого нашлась чаша.

Juda svarade: ”Vad ska vi säga, herre? Hur ska vi kunna förklara oss? Hur kan vi bevisa att vi är oskyldiga? Gud har dragit upp dina tjänares skuld. Vi är nu dina slavar, herre, både vi andra och han i vars säck bägaren återfanns.”

ยูดาห์ตอบว่า “พวกเราจะพูดอะไรต่อนายของเราได้? จะแก้ตัวได้อย่างไร? เราจะพิสูจน์ได้อย่างไรว่าเราเป็นผู้บริสุทธิ์? พระเจ้าทรงเปิดโปงความผิดของผู้รับใช้ของท่าน บัดนี้พวกเราและคนที่ถูกจับได้ว่ามีถ้วยเงินของท่านอยู่ได้เป็นทาสรับใช้เจ้านายของเราแล้ว”

犹大说：“我们能对我主说什么呢？我们还有什么话可说呢？我们如何洗脱罪名呢？上帝既然查出你仆人们的罪，我们跟那个被发现有银杯的弟弟一起做我主的奴仆吧！”

犹 大 说 ： 『 我 们 对 我 主 说 甚 麽 呢 ？ 还 有 甚 麽 话 可 说 呢 ？ 我 们 怎 能 自 己 表 白 出 来 呢 ？ 神 已 经 查 出 仆 人 的 罪 孽 了 。 我 们 与 那 在 他 手 中 搜 出 杯 来 的 都 是 我 主 的 奴 仆 。

猶大說：「我們能對我主說什麼呢？我們還有什麼話可說呢？我們如何洗脫罪名呢？上帝既然查出你僕人們的罪，我們跟那個被發現有銀杯的弟弟一起做我主的奴僕吧！」
