Genesis 42:12

Yet he said to them, “No, you have come to see the undefended parts of our land.”

And he said unto them, Nay, but to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

He said, “No. You’re spies. You’ve come to look for our weak spots.”

Yet he said to them, “No, but you have come to look at the [d]undefended parts of our land!”

“No!” he said to them. “You have come to see the places where our land isn’t guarded very well.”

“No!” he said to them. “You have come to see where our land is unprotected.”

‘No!’ he said to them. ‘You have come to see where our land is unprotected.’

“Yes, you are!” Joseph insisted. “You have come to see how vulnerable our land has become.”

وَلَكِنَّهُ قَالَ لَهُمْ: «لا! أَنْتُمْ قَدْ جِئْتُمْ لاكْتِشَافِ ثُغُورِنَا غَيْرِ الْمَحْمِيَّةِ»

„Jo, I er!” blev Josef ved. „I er kun ude på at finde hullerne i vores forsvar.”
