Genesis 19:9

But they said, “Get out of the way!” And they said, “This man (Lot) came [as an outsider] to live here temporarily, and now he is acting like a judge. Now we will treat you worse than your visitors!” So they rushed forward and pressed violently against [c]Lot and came close to breaking down the door [of his house].

And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

They said, “Get lost! You drop in from nowhere and now you’re going to tell us how to run our lives. We’ll treat you worse than them!” And they charged past Lot to break down the door. 10-11 But the two men reached out and pulled Lot inside the house, locking the door. Then they struck blind the men who were trying to break down the door, both leaders and followers, leaving them groping in the dark. 12-13 The two men said to Lot, “Do you have any other family here? Sons, daughters—anybody in the city? Get them out of here, and now! We’re going to destroy this place. The outcries of victims here to God are deafening; we’ve been sent to blast this place into oblivion.”

But they said, “Stand aside.” Furthermore, they said, “This one came in [g]as an alien, and already he is acting like a judge; now we will treat you worse than them.” So they pressed hard against [h]Lot and came near to break the door.

“Get out of our way!” the men of Sodom replied to Lot. “You came here as an outsider. Now you want to act like a judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept trying to force Lot to open the door. Then they moved forward to break it down.

فَقَالُوا: «تَنَحَّ بَعِيداً»، وَأَضَافُوا: «لَقَدْ جَاءَ هَذَا الإِنْسَانُ لِيَتَغَرَّبَ بَيْنَنَا، وَهَا هُوَ يَتَحَكَّمُ فِينَا. الآنَ نَفْعَلُ بِكَ شَرّاً أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمَا». وَتَدَافَعُوا حَوْلَ لُوطٍ وَتَقَدَّمُوا لِيُحَطِّمُوا الْبَابَ.

”Flytta på dig”, skrek de. ”Denne har kommit hit som främling och nu vill han vara vår domare! Nu ska vi behandla dig mycket värre än vad vi tänkte behandla dem.” Så trängde de sig fram till Lot och började bryta sönder dörren.
